“The great thing about this hotel was the location. It’s a lovely quiet location a short walk from the town. The room was ok. Clean. “Sehr schönes Hotel, optisch top. Zimmer zwar klein, aber auch superschön. Leider ziemlich hellhörig und Restaurant/Essbereich sehr klein. Es war aber alles super organisiert und das Essen an sich war wirklich sehr gut, wir haben dort gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Das Personal war am ersten Abend irgendwie komisch drauf, als hätten sie Stress miteinander. Dadurch wirkten sie irgendwie unfreundlich. Am Morgen waren aber alle sehr freundlich und nett.”

“The right place for a one night stay. Close to the ferry pier and the fish market.
The building is old without lift, reception in the pub at ground floor.
The room has everything you need in a tiny space. Windows haven't been renewed, very hard to open.
Usb plugs by the bed are a smart idea but unfortunately not working.
I asked for luggage deposit next morning as I was on a day tour (like 80% of tourists in Oban) but I wasn't allowed due to a private event.

The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy.
