“I chose this hotel for its proximity to the beach and history. I couldn't have been more pleased. My short, one-day trip was enhanced with all the information I was given about where to walk, eat, etc. They were so accommodating when my trip lasted a few hours beyond checkout. “This was obviously a nice property in its day. However we booked a room for five, but the room had only two double beds, and the staff member did not offer to help us any further, but simply said we could cancel and go elsewhere. The shower ran hot only briefly, so most of us had cold showers. Most of the lights did not work. The floor was filthy - our feet were black after walking on it barefoot. ”
