DO NOT STAY HERE!!! BEDBUGS I sat on the couch for one hour upon arrival, and the place where I was the most exposed, my arms, was covered in bites. When I pulled the cushions off the couch to look for bugs, it was absolutely filthy under there. I also checked the bed under the bedsheets, and that was gross, as well. There were stains on the sheets and some random person's clothes in a drawer. They obviously do not care about cleanliness or common decency, since they did not even respond to our message about the bedbugs and having to immediately book in at somewhere else.

First room the door wouldn’t lock, got another room which seemed ok at first but kitchen was filthy dishwasher was full of dirty dishes from previous guests, fridge,microwave, oven hadn’t been cleaned , bottom of bed cover was really stained and dirty

The apartment was not perfect, but clean & comfortable. In the City centre, but not noisy at all, but it was midweek.

Great location!

Robert was a lovely host, very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed having the extra space to relax. Street noise can be a bit loud, but the location is great! Host also provided ear plugs for the noise.

Tv did not work , remote battery panel missing . One bedside lamp did not work . The roller blind for the window did not work … managed to roll it up by hand and prop it up on the window ! The live music from the pub across the road was ridiculously loud , into early hours of the morning . Ear plugs left on arrival were not enough to drown out the music . We were not made aware of this situation when booking the room .

Great location but property cleanliness was poor. Crumbs on counter and stains on sheets. WiFi did not work in room or in common areas, owner said the router wasn’t working properly, but it caused problems planning our day trips. Several appliances in apartment did not function properly like garbage cans and curtains.

The apartment itself was adequate... When we could find it. Firstly, you don't check in at the apartments themselves - you check in at the Guest House a few streets over. This is nowhere on the booking information nor was anywhere in the information we received from the property in advance. We turned up to find a note on the door to go to a different building. Then when we did finally get checked in - after having to phone someone because there were signs saying the reception was already closed... at 6pm - we had a magical mystery tour in the apartment building to actually find our room because the singular sign with arrows and directions was tiny and not clear at all. The apartment itself was okay, nothing to shout about, the walls and some of the fabrics were dirty, the blinds didn't work, and the shower doors didn't close properly so left a puddle on the floor, but it was sufficient for a couple of nights to sleep when we were out all day. However, there was no internet in our apartment. Signs everywhere advertising the WiFi... But it did not reach the room I could connect in the main hallway outside the apartment, but it did not reach into the apartment itself. And due to the location, it was VERY noisy. So much so, that the company actually provide earplugs with the towels. Not something they can be blamed for, but something to be aware of. Overall, it'll do if you need somewhere to crash, but be prepared to hunt for your room and have no internet.

There's better in Inverness!

If there's one thing I can't abide in 2024, it's poor or no wifi. Also, the rmote control.didn't work so, I had to resort to my phone to watch tv. When I complainined about this to the elederly gentleman on the desk, I received a withered look and he was no help.at all.The bedroom had an old drinks carton lying around on arrival too

Waverley Apartment’s AVOID.

I had to go to the Waverley Guest a house to collect the key. On arriving I was passed by an inebriated lady cursing and swearing and carrying a Perspex advert holder. As I climbed the stairs it whizzed passed my head and smashed on the stairs as she had thrown in in her rage. The chap at the desk acted like nothing had happened and gave me my key. I went to the ‘holiday apartments’ and found room 18 and it was a disgrace. It stank of cigarettes and sweat. The walls and bed clothes were shabby. The mattress was almost non existent and offered no support at all. I called the receptionist and asked to be refunded and was told he would show me another room. He eventually arrived and showed me room 5 which was a little better but by now it was 7:30pm and I was tired. The bed was still poor and I found hairs on the bedding. If this was described to me as a hostel I would have believed it but I paid £141 for a room and expected more. Avoid this place at all costs. The shower in room 18 was filthy and none of the electrical equipment had been pat tested.

There seems to be improvements to what I have seen in other reviews. There are some very rowdy neighbors on the pub next to this place, avoid if light sleeper. Mattress is pretty hard, again, avoid if this bothers you. Robert was nice enough to let us store our bags for a few hours so we could go on a tour. It was an adequate experience.

Good position and very clean. Didn’t like that after carrying very heavy bag I arrived at the address only to see a sign on the door stating that key needed to be collected from another location a couple of streets away, and not even directions given.

Don't do it!

I don't know what standards Hotels.com uses or how places are vetted. This place is the dumps. The picture looks like it has a window but in reality, it is frighteningly enclosed (the photo shows the stone wall about foot from the window. I took the pic the next day so you could see the wall a little bit). I could hear the pigeons nesting all night. The bathroom was more than disgusting. The reservation confirmation said someone would meet me there but when I arrived I had to go to another location. When I got to the other location- upstairs to a closed Chinese restaurant??? There was no one there except a few sketchy people hanging out. I had to wait for the kid to come back. I was traveling by myself, it was late, and I had my things with me and there were a lot of drunk people and people panhandling in the area. This was an awful experience.
