“Great staff from front desk to housekeeping and especially from maintenance. Front desk let us store some pizzas in their freezer overnight. Maid was very nice. Maintenance man stay over to fix our A/C. Put in new unit in no time flat. I felt bad for him as he was called back in at least 2 times more to fix something. He was very pleasant about it. I don’t think I would have been. Looking forward to our next stay in a few months. Hot tub was great. I wish the pool was heated. A bit chilly. 😁”

“Retro Motel with UP North decor. Owners very nice. Room was clean with a nice view of lake. Quick sleep with early departure. Easy access to Hwy 2. Modern food/grocery store very close. Gas station in town opens @4am so coffee & donuts are available.”

“Our family stayed here while skiing at Ski Brule, great location just a few minutes away. House is large and clean. Everything was as advertised. Communication with owner was easy. Would like to stay again in the Summer or Fall sometime! ”

“We love all the space at the Nordic Haus and have been coming back for many years. The hot tub is great and it's super close to the ski hill. The hosts are always helpful and attentive to any questions or requests we have. 10/10!”
