“When we first saw the property, we thought that we had made a mistake. But that quickly changed when we walked inside and when we got to our room. The building was built in 1868 and it was very unique. (In a good way) the room was smaller than many I have stayed in but it was laid out and decorated in a very nice way and was extremely comfortable. The staff were polite, friendly and professional. I would definitely stay there again.”

This friendly clean and sweet hotel sits right next to the Youghiogheny River. Down a little road in this old town when you think this “can’t be right”…you find a very nice space, a restaurant next door also overlooking the river is a good place to catch football games and the beer and food is also good. “Absolutely outstanding stay. The hilltop location is special and the view looking east in the morning is breathtaking and peaceful. The room was spotless and comfortable, and everything felt well cared for. Breakfast was amazing with great variety and quality and easily one of the highlights of the stay. Staff was welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic and comfortable...
