Summary:
This listing is for our Beach Apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms in Haudimar Beach Apartments at Jobos Beach, Isabela. This Apartment is a corner unit on the second floor that offers a breathtaking view of the ocean pool and garden (as shown in the listing photos). This Apartment stands out from others because of its proximity to the swimming pool and the large balcony. The apartment accommodates up to 7 guests comfortably.

The Space:
The condominium has a basketball court and direct access to the beach. Enjoy a wonderful stay in our beloved Isabela, where the people are friendly, the beaches are crystal clear, and the food is exquisite. Families will be able to enjoy the beautiful nature of the northwest area of the Island. In the beach area, you will find the bicycle path where you ride a bicycle or rent an electric scooter and cruise along the different beaches. And also, nearby, there is horseback riding by the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, surf lessons, and other fun activities under the sun. Also, in the next town, Aguadilla, you will find “Las Cascadas Water Park.” In San Sebastian, you will enjoy“Gozalandia Waterfalls.” For nighttime fun, there are multiple bars and restaurants. Surfers can find beaches with diverse levels of difficulty: Jobos, Middles, Secret Spot, Wilderness, and Surfers Beach, among others.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the North West part of Puerto Rico. This area have little traffic, it is quiet and safe. The residents of this area speak Spanish and most also speak English. There are restaurants and bars on a walking distance to property. For anything else we recommend a rental car. This is a small Island and it is easy to get around.

Getting Around:
There is no public transportation. Driving around is easy, all places of interest are marked on the GPS.

Other Things to Note:
DISCLOSURE

Beach life: Living on the Beach is a beautiful experience, different from what you can find in the countryside or city. This property is on the Northwest Coast of the Island of Puerto Rico, where a constant breeze comes from the ocean to the land at speeds of 10-20 miles per hour. This wind contains a high concentration of salt and fine sand. As a result of these weather conditions, you can expect to find sticky surfaces, slippery floors, stained window glass, traces of moisture or salt in the fans or air conditioners, and any other slippery or moist surfaces. Traces of rust in appliances and other metal components are also typical. We clean this property after check-out. We also do a quick inspection and retouch surfaces if needed before guests arrive; however, it is impossible to maintain the areas spotless because of this weather. These conditions vary by location of the property and by position within the apartment complex. If you book multiple apartments on the same property, you may experience different scenarios.

Local Beaches: Puerto Rico has a great diversity of beaches. Beaches on the North and East side of the Island are often wavy. The South and west coasts stay calm most of the year. The Beach in front of the Complex is unsuitable for swimming, but when the conditions are right, you may find a shallow pond between the reef and the shore. The nearest area with a sandy beach will be Jobos Beach, located 2/3 of a mile east of the Complex. You can walk right from your Apartment. At 1.5 miles to the west, you can find Shacks Beach. This Beach is great for snorkeling. Always be cautious when entering a body of water. Be aware of the swell conditions and stay away from the Beach if the waves are big. Within a 5-minute drive from the Apartment, there are two beach ponds with calm water: Montones’ and Teodoro. Another must-see Beach is Crash Boat Beach, which is 20 minutes away.

Note about bugs: Puerto Rico is a Tropical Island with a great diversity of bugs. We spray our apartments every month, but there is a high possibility that you will run into bugs on the property, especially during nighttime. Changes in the weather, like rain or temperature, can also make bugs enter the Apartment. Bug encounters may vary from one property to another, but it is unpredictable.

Note about wildlife: Puerto Rico has no dangerous species; however, you can run into Iguanas, rodents, and even stray dogs or cats. If you do run into any wild or stray animals, do not pet them or feed them. They may not be friendly.

Storm / Hurricane season: The official hurricane season in Puerto Rico is from June 1st to November 30th. We strongly suggest that all future guests get travel insurance, especially during hurricane season. We will not offer last-minute refunds due to storms or rain unless it is a big event that affects the Island utilities. We could make an exception if the power and water supply are interrupted for over 24 hours.

Utilities (water and electricity) in Puerto Rico are reasonably stable; however, we can have some isolated interruptions during the year. We will consider offering a refund if the interruption lasts over 24 hours. A 25% discount will be applied to the nightly rate of each night spent without a utility. The discount will be prorated by the hours affected. We will not provide any refunds or discounts for internet-related issues.

Swimming Pool: Your rental does not guarantee the use of the Swimming Pool. The pool is often open during pool hours, but sometimes it needs extra care. If the pool is closed for maintenance or other reason, please be kind to the Condominium’s staff. You may ask them when it will reopen, and they’ll provide any available information. There will be no discount if you cannot use the pool during your stay.

The boardwalk in front of the Complex is no longer available. The Beach is accessible through the wood bridge in the center of what was the boardwalk. Currently, the tennis court is not in service.

All the units that we manage have different owners. We provide the units fully equipped. Items such as towels, pots, and pans, among others, must be returned to the Apartment to which it belongs. Please note that other hosts rent apartments in this Condominium, and we will not likely receive our missing items back.

Please take good care of the property. We put lots of effort and money into providing an excellent experience for our guests. We understand the difference between normal wear and tear and property damage. Makeup stains or any other permanent stain are not considered normal wear and tear. We will charge the guests the replacement cost of damaged or missing goods such as towels, furniture, decoration, kitchenware, or any other lost or damaged component.

Housekeeping Note:
The cleaning fee does not include the following services:
• Trash disposal ($10.00 charge)
• Washing the dishes ($20.00 charge)

Interaction with Guests:
I'm always looking forward to offer the best vacation rentals to my guests. We do a double inspection of the unit before your arrival, however if anything needs attention please contact my assistant that's in charge of the apartments' maintenance. His info will be provided in the check in message. Our service hours are: Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm.
If there is an emergency you can contact us anytime. Emergencies are defined as:
Fire
Flood
Locked out of the apartment
Anything that represents a hazard to you or the property
For Security issues or if there is another car in your parking spot, contact the guard at the gate. Phone number will be provided in the check in message
For other Emergencies call 911
If there is a malfunction of an appliance or a maintenance related issue please us during service hours: Monday to Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The preferred contact method is the text message or "What's App" or the Airbnb Chat

Simple accommodation located on the beach. Water pressure was lacking, a typical issue in this area, and no hot water in kitchen for cleaning dishes. Responsive host and secure location.

Great, clean space with beautiful view! Shower head in master bath not great-drizzled at times and kitchen equipment/dishes lacks a lot. I left simple recommendations that I hope helps. I would love to return.

The apts. are in a good location and have good security. Felt extremely safe. Grounds are well kept. Just minutes away from Jobos, a great surf spot and place to swim, snorkel and just relax.

We had an excellent time in Isabela PR. The unit was very nice, clean and everything that was listed in the site was available to us. Arnold answered our questions and kept in touch with me during our stay. The pool was very nice and clean. There are lots of restaurants nearby with delicious seafood and local cocktails. Was the first time to Puerto Rico with my family and found this spot to be private in its location, but close to other areas and beaches that we were able to enjoy. Would stay here again if we ever return to Isabela PR.

The bed had a hole on the mattress fitter that must’ve been there from previous renters it was not what the pictures showed when we rented and we are not responsible for damages to your mattress fitter you’re responsible for renting your place in good condition and need to repair previous damages before you rented out again and try to charge a new renter that has no idea or responsible for previous damages

Paradise. In and out of the apartment with codes, easy. The beach dunes were a well deserved workout and I loved it, sneakers were my best friend. The crashing waves and the corals were spectacular The waves changed the scenery daily, it was spectacular. However, cleanliness is a mans best friend. The outside of the condo is dated with paint chipping and in need of a good paint job. Inside of condo the paint chipping especially the ceilings also had mold. The kitchen (especially fridge), bathrooms and laundry were dirty due to poor hygiene and Maintenance. In the bedrooms the lamp fixtures had cobwebs and we had to super clean it and no hangers in the closets, we had to buy. I recommend to rent but pay for a good cleaning with local companies. Enjoy! The apartment is beautifully kept, very spacious and steps from the ocean. The complex is also very nicely maintained. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool due to COVID restrictions and a misunderstanding regarding pool time booking but the pool looked really nice too. Communication with the property manager was very easy as well. Look forward to an opportunity to return in our next visit to the area.

We stayed here for 10 days while on vacation, the view was excellent and the apartment was very nice. There was a few small problems, the hot water needed to done with small pressure to get it hot and then you could turn it on and there was a power outage in the entire apartment complex. The managers if the apartments was responsive and took immediate action. The Apartment was great for what we needed. I will definitely use this service again. Thanks for the hospitality.
