All of the staff were incredibly inviting and helpful the entire time from arranging Taxis to get me to do day trips to shuttles on elsewhere I needed to go and best of all there is a pool to help cool off considering how incredibly hot it can be in Nicaragua. “This is a really nice hotel in Granada, Nicaragua (NOT IN SPAIN!) with a distinctive colonial feel to it. Staff are very friendly, helpful and work with you on any specific needs. Within a 10 to 15 minute walk there are local bazaars, a park, and many dining options not to mention local sights. The rooms too are fabulous - spacious, airy and nicely airconditioned. “The property was quiet, the staff was excellent( especially at the bar and the morning breakfast staff). It’s within walking distance of a ton of restaurants, and all of the churches and plazas. There’s no need to do the horse carriage tours. Visit the chocolate museum. There’s a pizza place across the street. The only slight complaint was that the room was too cold sometimes.”

“The trails through the jungle around the lodge are incredible, and very well maintained. The owner and staff were very attentive, and I felt completely taken care of, from the moment my plane landed, until my return flight took off. The lodge owner matched me with a guide, Harold “The Tiger,” who took me on several grand adventures, hiking, kayaking, birding, touring white towns. This was the best stay I’ve ever had, anywhere!
