Lost River Retreat è circondato da viste incredibili. Situato nella suddivisione Shotgun appena fuori Old Shotgun Road a Island Park, ID. In estate, rilassati sugli ampi ponti spaziosi e lasciati stupire dallo splendido scenario. Guardando verso nord vedrai la Centennial Mountain Range e verso sud-est vedrai le Grand Teton Mountains. C'è una griglia all'aperto per cene deliziose e una vasca idromassaggio privata sul patio sul retro.

La grande sala ha grandi finestre dal pavimento al soffitto per godere ancora di più della vista mentre vi rilassate. Ci sono comodi mobili in pelle in tutto il lodge e vedrai accenti di legno di montagna rustici per creare la sensazione di un'esperienza rustica di Yellowstone. La cucina deluxe ha bellissimi ripiani in granito, elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e tutti i comfort di casa. Il tavolo da pranzo può ospitare sei persone con un tavolo più piccolo che può ospitare quattro con più posti a sedere al bancone della cucina. La camera da letto al livello principale è appena fuori dalla cucina e dal bagno principale in comune per coloro che sono portatori di handicap o per i familiari che hanno difficoltà a salire le scale. Al piano superiore nel soppalco ci sono due futon e una camera da letto privata con un letto matrimoniale.

Al piano inferiore ci sono tre camere da letto private con un letto matrimoniale in ogni camera, un bagno in comune full size e una camera familiare molto confortevole. C'è anche una vasca idromassaggio privata situata nel cortile sul retro del seminterrato. Ora è coperto per proteggere i nostri ospiti dalle intemperie.

Great for Yellowstone and Grand Tetons

Great home. The road in is bumpy but I was in a mini van and it was no problem. My stay was in August. Winter vacations could necessitate 4 wheel drive. The upstairs was a bit warm, but not unbearable. There are plenty of box fans and also individual heaters were noted in bedroom closets although there is central heat. I brought a lot things I ended up not needing as the home was well stocked with necessities especially towels. I didn’t need to contact property manager so I gave 5 stars. The parking area has a lot of grit (typical for the area). I would suggest taking something to wipe your feet on before getting in your vehicles (like one of those shoe cleaner with bristles) Or a hand held vacuum.

This was such a great location and the space was what we needed after being stuck in the car for a 9 hour drive. Check in process was super easy and if we had questions they got back to us pretty quickly.

Poor Communication and not clean

Old candy in the bed, Dead bugs, and no ice maker. Holes in screens so couldn’t open windows in some bedrooms and it got hot. Text property multiple times but nothing fixed

Great amount of space for a family

We stayed with our extended family and the amount of space was great. The loft was pretty hot in the midst of the warmest part of the year. I can image this would be a great spot for a winter retreat.

Over all very satisfied. Little could have been better but not enough to be a deal breaker. IE the lock box for the key was old and didn’t work easily. We eventually learned its idiosyncrasies but it took us quite a while the fist couple of times. Would be nice just to replace it

Great Stay

I think the unit looked better in person than in photos. It was very spacious and very clean. The kitchen had what we needed. The wrap around balcony views were great. The distances from west yellowstone is a bit of a drive, but manageable during our 3 night stay. I'd stay again.

Lost River Retreat is a TREAT

Our family vacation that included 7 adults at Lost River Retreat was AMAZING. The proximity to so many outdoor adventures was a welcome change to crowded hotels, campsites or RV parks. The bedroom were all situated nicely to allow us to have our personal space. The Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook practically every night. The hot tub was used every night for a nice relaxing end to the day and the sunsets and sunrises were stunning. Well done on this cabin and location!

Peaceful location with beautiful views

Loved our stay. Loved how the neighborhood wasn't on top of each other. Such Beautiful views of the Mountains and pastures with a great big wrap around porch! kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. Comfortable beds and a relaxing hot tub to soak in! 45 min drive to Yellowstone. Just wished the wrap around porch had chairs/porch swings to hang out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Made great memories

We only had four in our group so several beds were never slept in, but the ones we did use were very comfortable. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the place was in very good order. The location was initially a concern being a little further from West Yellowstone, but the drive in is beautiful and you really don’t even notice a few extra minutes at the start and finish of the day. We want to come back here for sure, saw a big black bear last night just a few miles away!

Family Fun!

We went to Island Park/Yellowstone to social distance and enjoy family. This cabin was perfect for us and we loved the location. The cabin was stocked well and was comfortable for us. We loved the hot tub! The area was quiet and great for walking and relaxing.

A wonderful place to gather.

The home was wonderful. There was plenty of seating at the 2 kitchen tables and in the gathering areas on the main floor and in the basement. The mounted saddle in the family room was a hit with the younger kids. The TVs on two levels were so convenient. The games upstairs were also popular with all. The hot tub needed some attention though. Everyone was comfortable - it was a successful family experience. Very nice accommodation.

Nice! but with couple issues...

Overall very nice -- but sans wi-fi, with kitchen sink leaking signicantly, and hot tub needing attention! Property needs repair and maintenance-- but property management office very helpful and very responsive.
