“Sleeping in a tipi is fantastic”

“Lodge not quite what we were hoping for based on previous great reviews. The lodge itself is very charming. It was clean and decorated nicely. We knew how far away it was from Yellowstone, but the drive between was not ideal. The roads into the community where the lodge is located are extremely bumpy, gravel/dirt roads. “I was with my wife and our 6-year-old son, Sun, from Chicago. We loved the place! Just remember that when people are traveling, you are in the mountains, the weather can change quickly, and you’re sleeping in a tent. It’s amazing how many come to Yellowstone without proper attire.”
