“We were traveling with extended family 8 of us total. My husband I stayed in the guest cottage which was perfect. Our only problem was the shower. The water ran out of the shower into the room. The shower floor is not pitched to the drain. Luckily we were given extra towels”

“We were satisfied with this stay. The kids, 6-38, stayed in the larger house and we stayed in the smaller one. We thought the smaller house was closer to the large one, but it is a little bit down the road. The only comment I will make about the smaller house is that the parking area is up from the house and the path down is very rocky. If you have any mobility issues it would be difficult to traverse. It snowed while we were there and we had to use ice cleats to go up to the car. Overall though...

“We spent a whole week here, and these cottages are located in an ideal place to explore Golden circle and southern Iceland along ring road. Only 45 minutes from downtown Reykavik we were able to connect with some tours via bus a couple of days and self drive the rest. There seems to be some issue with water pressure at times but water was clean and cold when you wanted, hot when needed. Having the hot tub was delightful but needed some adjusting by the owners to make it hot enough. Kitchenette...

“What a wonderful little cottage, "cozy" and peaceful. The initial info regarding check in was a bit confusing, however Peter met us to check in and gave us great hints regarding places to go and things to see....we could not do everything he suggested and we never would have seen seals playing just a few feet offshore, if he did not tell us a place to see them. The hosts checked in during our stay to make sure everything was ok...great hosts....great place.”
