Millport sfoggia una bellissima spiaggia sabbiosa, con palme tropicali che si affacciano sul lungomare e yacht ormeggiati nella baia riparata. Da qui puoi esplorare il fascino di una città sul mare con caffetterie, negozi, bar e bistrot. Un paradiso per la fauna selvatica, Cumbrae attira gli uccelli migratori da tutto il mondo e la flora dell'isola è altrettanto varia con una visita alla Stazione di ricerca marina dell'isola con museo e acquario obbligatori. Millport è anche la casa della cattedrale più piccola d'Europa e la casa più stretta della Gran Bretagna. Una posizione ideale per ciclismo, passeggiate e golf, e il National Watersports Centre offre corsi per tutti gli aspetti delle attività acquatiche. La principale baia di Newton offre ancoraggi riparati e ormeggi sicuri. Spiaggia 100 metri. Negozio, pub e ristorante a 100 iarde.

A fantastic cosy retreat in the heart of wonderful Millport.

A fantastic cosy retreat in the heart of wonderful Millport. Just a short stroll from the water, the fabulous restaurants and the ever welcoming bars. The house is super comfy and very spacious for two people. The log burner, complete with a plentiful supply of firewood , was such a joy to come back to after a brisk november cycle round this fantastic island. An escape indeed, highly recommended.

Very comfortable flat to stay in

Spotless, friendly owner nothing to much trouble. The only thing I would say is parking can be a we bit difficult at times apart from that every thing was excellent

Island Escape

Definitely a 5 Star Accommodation. Very Modern, Spacious and Comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Dog friendly a bonus :)

Home from home

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the week. Everything we needed for the week was there and the property owners could not have been more helpful ensuring we we were comfortable. Shall certainly be rebooking again for next year.

Great little flat, two minute walk a way from the shops and pubs! This island was beautiful.

Great little flat, two minute walk a way from the shops and pubs! This island was beautiful. 5 min drive away from flat to ferry port, although there was a bus stop a minute walk away from the flat. The flat had everything we needed and more! The owners even left us a bottle of Prosecco! The only problem we had staying here was the water/heating system made a loud tapping noise and it was always through the night but after the second night we went to a pharmacy and bought some ear plugs so after that we were fine! We 100% would stay here again it was beautiful, perfect flat for us on a perfect little island! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

When on holiday or short break what do you look for Great location this has it Accommodation this is excellent Fantastic use of place and full of essential amenities Pet friendly which is fantastic for a variety of reasons Great outdoor space Toiletries were Scottish fine soaps a real favourite of mine Sea Kelp, wonderful Minor mishap with 2 broken glasses no problem, excellent hosts All in all a wonderful holiday destination made all the better in the marvellous Island Escape Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Your photo makes it look like a cottage but to the right is a close door that you go into two small flats one to your left is yours the cleanliness of the flat is immaculate and a small walk and your are at the sea front

Lisa and Ali were the perfect hosts and couldnt do enough for us! They made is feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make us feel at home! We arrived to a lovely welcome pack which was very much appreciated! A beautiful, cosey little flat witb everything you will ever need! Lots of lovely walks and scenery with parks for children and family friendly restaurants and bars! What more could you ask for! Lovely place to stay and will be back for sure!

The apartment was lovely and we felt at home with the woodburner.

The apartment was lovely and we felt at home with the woodburner. The holiday was mired unfortunately by the vandalisation of our car. This did not appear to be taken seriously by either the local police or the owner of the property. Sadly this put a dampener on the holiday and we decided we wouldn't want to visit again. The best part of the village is the butchers, who are very helpful and supply amazing meat!

Ali and Lisa were fantastic hosts, very friendly and provided everything that we required.

Ali and Lisa were fantastic hosts, very friendly and provided everything that we required. The apartment was stocked better than many I have stayed in and the welcome pack provided including cheese, oatcakes and butter was a welcome addition. There were plenty of logs provided for the wood burning stove which was needed on a wet and windy January weekend. I would seriously recommend staying here and I certainly would again in the future.
