Capsule Hotel a Isola di Cat Ba

“The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs...

“This was a beautiful resort in a very nice location. Unfortunately, two of the pools were closed when we were there for maintenance and the weather wasn’t very nice so we were unable to use the beach facilities. There was only one restaurant open for supper dining options. We had to pay for a shuttle into town or you could walk about 20 minutes. “Green Homestay was the perfect place to stay on Cat Ba island. We were greeted by Hana who is so lovely and helpful and really made our stay perfect. We were able to arrange activities right from the homestay which was very convenient. The property is absolutely beautiful with a great pool and garden area. “I was advised the day of arrival the elevator was broken and we would be taken to another hotel. The elevator was non existent and there was obvious major building works in progress. The hotel we were taken to was substandard and not at all what we paid for. We were not given prior knowledge or the opportunity to choose our own hotel or for a refund.”
