“Wow, the San Giorgio was an amazing experience for my wife and myself. The owner took personal interest in making sure everything was great, had good recommendations, and the food at the hotel was amazing--the flavours of the tomato/mozzarella salad are still dancing around in my mind! Our room was great, and I loved the little terrace outside where we could enjoy a drink in the warm evenings. 5/5, I would definitely recommend (and hope to return again!)”

“We were very happy with our accommodations and the owner was very kind and helpful. People with mobility or health issues should be aware it is a bit of a climb from the downtown area. However, this seems to be the normal for the area, and there are taxis which can transport you if the climb is too challenging. The tradeoff is once you get to the apartment, the views are stunning and well worth the climb. We would recommend.”

“La struttura non può assolutamente essere definita un Resort. È una struttura che sembra abbandonata, fatisciente, suddivisa in tanti palazzoni più o meno degradati, che facevano parte probabilmente di un veccho hotel, con reception unica ed esterna. Dove abbiamo soggiornato noi poteva entrare chiunque senza alcuno controllo all'ingresso. No aria condizionata, solo un ventilatore anch'esso datato. La doccia si otturava. Staff at check in and breakfast were very friendly all the time. Room was beautiful and seemed brand new. Only improvement would be to offer more options of pillows. “Fantastic host who was so welcoming and did everything to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble including an early check-in despite being very busy. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room and reception including dressing gowns, wine glasses and opener, coffee machine, fridge etc. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room at the requested time. "The hotel is very expensive compared what they are offering, I would not recomend it. The room smelt like cigarets and hotel was full so they cannot change room. The curtains are smaller then windows so at sunrise there was a lot of light in the room. We had breakfast and dinner, at breakfast no croassant or pies offered. Dinner quality was pretty low and plates glasses forks where washed badly and a bit dirty. This hotel is a 2 stars and should charge half what they are asking or increasy the quality."
