“Lovely property in a great location, however a little fridge in the room should be a given in all motels these days. There is a communal guest fridge available, but not conveniently located. ”

The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again”

“Enjoyed our 1 night stay with Jenny and Ken. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Nice little spot to sit outside in their glorious garden, which must keep them very busy. A couple of friendly cats in the main part of the house. It is a 20 minute walk, or short drive into Geraldine with it's restaurants and cafes. Barkers (the jam people) have a store and café there. There is also a nice little craft brewery across the street from there called Bonnie's. Nice cooked breakfast in...

“We didnt stay for super long, but the staff were just so sweet and helpful, even driving us to the airport in the morning. The room was beautiful and had everything you would need! I highly recommend staying with them, i wish we could have stayed longer!”

“The place was great! Maybe not for everyone but perfect for anyone with kids or just looking for something a little different. We are seniors but have done a lot of camping and this was glamping at its best. We picked the yurt which had an outdoor kitchen and an external bathroom. Everything felt really authentic yet still very modern. It all was just there as one would expect from a nice hotel but presented in a different way. Kind of a cowboy camp or depression era type of a kitchen outside...

“Amazing ocean view. Lovely room with good toiletries, nespresso coffee etc. very close to the main town and ‘The Whaler’ pub. Very good Continental breakfast included as well which is a bonus. ”

“The room is spacious and the continental breakfast is great. However, there are five other rooms on the property, and foot traffic in the corridor can be quite loud at times. The bathroom is not attached and is a bit of a hike from the room.”
