“We were truly delighted by our stay at the Observatory. In addition to being centrally located, the hotel is part of an arts center that has been reconstructed/renovated from the Christchurch earthquakes. The history is fascinating! We were treated well and felt welcome. Falling int the feather bed was like a dream after a long trip! “Great place to crash while in Queestown, modern facilities and comfortable stay. It's also close to the city center, just a couple of minutes walk. The app did not work very well for the check-in for us - luckily, the girl at the reception was very nice and helped us complete the check-in.”

“We stayed here 16 years ago and it seems the furniture and fixtures & fittings were the same. Our L shape sofa had a stain. Couldn’t work out how to use the gas heater as it kept turning off. Comfortable stay and unbeatable lake side view. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were very useful. ”
