“My stay here as a solo traveler was the best decision I made for my trip. Dave and Shami were so friendly, kind, welcoming, and just genuinely good people. The room was so cozy and has an incredible view overlooking Rotorua. The breakfast spread was incredible and it was lovely to spend some time talking to other travelers about where they’re from and get ideas. I absolutely plan to come back again and recommend this place to anyone passing through Rotorua.”

“Spacious suite overlooking dense greenery - like staying in a treehouse! Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking. Gorgeous communal space - would be super if travelling or meeting with a group.”

“The room was clean, but well worn. Even though the bed had seen better days, it was still comfortable. I had a problem with the key that took a couple of attempts by both the owner of the unit and the front desk people to fix. Not really a problem as I was sleeping quite a bit the first day and a half. There was a deodorizer used in the hallway that gave me a headache. It smelled like cheap men's cologne, so I had the window open a lot. Overall a pleasant place to recuperate before my next...

“It’s a good apartment to stay for a couple of days but the location is not great. No shops/restaurants nearby. You definitely need a car. ”
