We stayed in what was called the “modern” suite, a kitsch and garishly designed suite that was a far cry from “modern” in today’s standards.

“Much bigger hotel than I expected but very friendly staff. Room was spotless. I was on the 8th floor so great view of Nelson. Very handy for town centre restaurants and bars. Really good buffet breakfast. The stay was exactly what I wanted.”
