“Had a lovely stay at the Savoy. Location, breakfast and cleanliness great. However, my family and I were unable to sleep well. There is no soundproofing in the building we understand it is old, but surely there is something they can do to help mitigate. In the family room, be warned that the room with the 2 single beds clearly has pipes running in the ceiling. This made for a repetitive and annoying noise across the ceiling the whole night. My guess this is from hot water coming on and off as...

“beautiful hotel, staff excellent, room very clean, good food; to improve variety of dishes (for 3 evening the fish dish was always salmon) more local/traditional dishes and sometimes you have to wait (for example for a glass of water because the waiters didn't fill the glass when empty)”

“Yes it did invite pets but I do not want to go to breakfast with them barking. Staff not very helpful or tell about your choice for breakfast and they serve coffee and hot water in flasks which was cold. And all you had was 2 sockets in your room nothing by the bed ”

“The room was okay but did not feel like a premium room. It felt a bit tired with a few trip hazzards i.e. lamp cable plus chipped tile in bathroom needs attention. No separate shower or non slip mat. It was difficult getting in and out of the bath. Room was not made up during our stay. However Chloe was very helpful.”

“A lovely rural hotel in the parish of St. Martin, about 10 minutes drive from the airport and 15-20 minutes from St. Peter Port. Located on narrow, winding roads, the hotel provides an excellent base for exploring the island. “Nice stay, last time we stayed in a more expensive room and kind have wished we had paid the extra for that room again but the room we had was very pleasant. Beds were smaller than I remember though?”

“Lovely soft bedding, fabulous shower, huge fluffy towels all within a small, peaceful hotel. Great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely be back. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. ”
