“We were in the cheapest room type so we weren't expecting a view but in fact we could see sideways across the bay and inland which was very green. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished with plenty of storage. It had two chairs and a little table which means you don't always have to sit on the bed. Teas, milks and biscuits were topped up daily which is by no means the case in all hotels. The breakfast was acceptable, some good additional choices can be ordered instead of the buffet. A fan...

“Sheets and towels were a bit stained and the bed and pillow were hard and not very comfortable. But the building is beautiful and located just a 15minute walk out the of the main area. We enjoyed our stay overall.”
“The hotel is in an excellent position. The facilities like the spa are very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The only issue is with rooms on the 4th floor of the old part of the hotel (silver rooms), where the sloping roof on one side is uncomfortable. I would ask not to be in those rooms.”
