“The view of this property was simply out of this world amazing. Every single morning we felt like we were in heaven! The room was lovely with plenty of space for everyone in our party. It almost felt like we were in a place outside of time. We will definitely be coming back here.”

“Friendly and attentive staff greeted us. The room was wonderful, I was especially impressed by the mini-kitchen with 2 burner stovetop and fully equipped for light cooking. Everything is in top condition. We enjoyed complimentary Netflix being provided. Good bus connection from downtown and easy walk to Parnell restaurants. We were just here overnight before taking the Northern Explorer but would definitely stay here again for a longer visit.”

“We've been lucky enough to stay here twice before, and very little has changed. Same great location, same quality furnishings - very, very comfortable! You do pay a premium for the magnificent view east of the lake and snowcapped mountains. Quality and comfortable bedding, lounge, dining area, and kitchen. “We had an excellent week long stay. The place had great views of Lake Wakatipu and is walking distance to town (albeit a bit uphill coming back). A few dings here and there but very clean, comfortable and not noisy, kitchen was more than adequate to cook daily meals for a family of 6. Beds were adequate and comfortable.
