“Very nice historic house, however bathrooms are outside - just be aware about this. Soundproofing isn't that great either, we were lucky to have quiet neighbors but if they were noisier I imagine it would be pretty annoying. Everything else was very nice and comfortable ❤️”

“It seems like the price is high for what you are getting. The location is beautiful by the ocean and within walking distance of the Bluff ocean trail. However, we were expecting a little bit more luxury. There was no unique character or coziness to the place you would expect of a boutique hotel. The staff are friendly and the bed was comfortable. The room was rather small, although it was over looking the ocean.”

“Unique and quirky property in Te Anau, we loved having the use of the Homestead and the amenities in the main lodge too. The homestead is brilliantly equipped and we had everything we needed and more, and lots of space. Kym was unbelievably helpful too in our stay and went above and beyond to help us organise a last minute trip to Milford Sound when our original booking was cancelled due to the weather - very much appreciated!”
