Glorious view of the bay from the spacious living and kitchen, and really nice to master bedrooms and and extra very big bedroom for 3 persons. The beds were very good and it was a quiet place to sleep. I will very much recommend this to everyone traveling in New Zealand, and we would gladly have stayed longer if we had not already booked for the next 7 days. ”

“The house was unique and special - not the kind of generic room or apartment you find on rental sites these days. Its location was close to the volcanoes national park, but also remote and isolated. Joshua and Geneva gave us excellent directions to get there with ease and checked on us to ensure we had all we needed. Our five-year-old was pleased with all of the games, books, and decorations that showed him that kids are welcome at Volcano Home. Beds were comfortable and blankets were plentiful....

“Montana was a great host. Everything at the house was as described. The location was optimal for our trip as we were sitting time between town and volcano. About 30 to the airport and 8 minutes from Foodland. The house was comfortable and parking was easy. Everything you could need in a stay. ”

“Very nice place and near new, clean and all we needed for an enjoyable stay. Extremely quiet with no unwanted noise. Beds comfortable. One observation, if one has mobility issues, the stairs to the upper floor bedrooms are relatively steep but manageable.”
