“Had a very nice stay at The Garden Hostel. The rooms were clean, tidy, and all amenities were great and exactly as described. The location is ideal in Auckland CBD, quiet and away from the busy and noisy areas around Albert Street, yet still very close to all the main attractions and transport hubs and ferries for getting around. Amazing views of the surrounding skyscrapers, along with very friendly and supportive staff. I ended up extending my stay. Highly recommended.”

“All the staffs are very kind and very thoughtful. They welcomed every visitor in very nice ways. The special treats provided every 7p.m. is really really nice. You can feel they really care about if you are comfortable even you only stay for few nights. it was my best experience among all backpacker hostels in South Island of NZ.”

“Very relaxing, surrounded by nature and with a hike to waterfalls just 5 minutes walk to. The surf spot was amazing and surrounded by beautiful views, beaches wore clean and had restaurants and campgrounds, basically everything you need for a vacation.”
