“We arrived at Hahei in the middle of a horrendous storm. Checkin was straight forward as was finding our garden view appartment. The accomodation was all a little dated, but none the less was well equiped, had everything you need, was clean and comfortable. We ate and drank at the Deck (on site food place/bar) for the 2 evenings we were there. The pizzas (gluten free bases available) and fish n chips we ate were great. “Cabin clean and comfortable but wooden walkway in front of cabin very noisy when people walking across, kept us awake most of the night as people walked in front of cabin to use the amenities.”

“Looks small from outside but really comfy inside. A big positive was a small fan for the hot afternoons, a mini fridge, a kitchenette. The only callout is hot showers are $2.”

“The unit was adequate for a two night stay. Very convenient for early morning boat trip on Doubtful Sound. Beautiful view of lake. Road a stone’s throw in front of unit but not very busy and bedroom was at the rear. Old fashioned interior and furnishings. Plenty of hot water, clean bedding and towels. No television but good WiFi. Overall we felt pricing was a bit on the high side. Parking beside unit. ”
