Bellissimo boutique hotel in zona strategica, vicinissimo al Ponte Galata. La nostra camera era purtroppo davvero minuscola, non c'era spazio nemmeno per aprire una valigia, claustrofobico il bagno. Bellissima invece la terrazza dove viene servita una ricca, varia ed abbondante colazione, si gode una stupenda vista sul Bosforo. Gentilissimo il personale, dal check in al check out. Nel complesso è un hotel che consiglio.

I’ve been travelling to İstanbul for a couple of years and stayed at a lot of hotels. This one was the best experience I ever had! The Hotel smells amazing, it is very clean and quiet and they have a lot of additional services, as well as a huge breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly, helpful and even walked with me to the taxi 300metres outside of the hotel! The service was excellent. Also the location of the hotel was great. İt’s located next to the public transport and one feels safe at night since the entrance is very closer to the public part. I recommend the hotel for every tourist and even people who know İstanbul.

We had an excellent stay at the Ferman Port hotel. The staff were wonderful! So polite and friendly. Kerem was lovely, always greeting us and helped us with our baggage. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of variety and great views of the Bosphours. Rooms were clean and kept in good condition. Would definitely be staying here again. Only issue we had was the water was leaking from the shower onto the bathroom floor. Other than that, an excellent stay!

All of the public areas and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was great, with a beautiful view. 2 negatives for us: it was hard to cool down a hit room with the a/c off; and, the mattresses could use an upgrade. The old sprung type are noisy and not very comfortable.

Overall,the hotel gives off a really good vibe , but our deluxe family suite looked very tired in terms of decor - scuffs and scrapes all around the walls from furniture or suitcases- making it feel scruffy. The shower door didn't fit properly causing water to leak out onto the floor and pool in a corner , the air conditioning is not air conditioning - it is a hotel wide ventilation system that you can only turn on or off. The control panels are for air con units but do nothing except on or off. In our case (December 20 -23) the hotel was heating the place so it got very hot and stuffy at night with no cooler ventilation (no windows). Even turning the whole thing offf didn't do much. Staff were very helpful generally and breakfast on the top floor is good , though not amazing. Location is excellent as a base though a bit random in terms of arrival as the taxi can't actually get down the street so you are set down on the main road and have to find the entrance in the back alleys. Once found it's fine - just a bit worrying on first arrival. Very close to tram and ferry so really easy to get around. Overall a good stay but wouldn't really class it as a 4 star special category , more a 3 star special !

Also dieses Hotel hat ein großes Lüftungsproblem, die Hälfte der Zimmer haben nur ein Fenster in den Innenhof der keine Fenster hat und absolut keine Luftzirkulation, dadurch sind die Zimmer schnell stickig. Naja ich sage mal so aus der Lüftungsanlage sind wir nicht schlauer geworden. Die Zimmer stinken nach Abfluss, total unangenehm und es fliegen Eintagsfliegen rum, das war das erste was mir aufgefallen ist. Die Zimmer sind unglaublich klein, da wurde wirklich an jedem cm gespart, ich rate jedem bewusst über die Größe nachzudenken. Das Personal ist lieb und zuvorkommend und zu jeder Uhrzeit erreichbar. Ausgezeichnet ist die Lage vom Hotel, das war bis heute die beste Lage in der wir geblieben sind, ob es erneut das Ferman Port Hotel wird- glaube ich nicht.

All of our rooms are equipped with devices that receive clean cases from outside. Your air conditioners heat or cool the fresh air coming from outside and give it to your room. The Ferman Port Hotel was exceptional in every way. Surrounded by walkable locations from restaurants, shops, money exchange, waterfront or historical locations. Breakfast included was fresh and delicious. Staff extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable. Willing to help out in every way. A bit in the old part of town but never felt unsafe. It's a gem in the middle of it all. Rooftops Best view of harbor in the city.

Very comfortable hotel in Karakoy
We all had a very nice time in Ferman Port Hotel of Istanbul. The room was spacious. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice and served in a roof top room with a very nice view on Bosphore and the old city. The fitness room could be a bit more equipped and the spa could be accessible for free. But overall, we definitely recommend this hotel with a very good quality/price ratio

Definitely stay here!
Stayed in Sultanahmet neighborhood before, Karakoy is much better and this hotel is great, fantastic service, great breakfast, nice big rooms (space is hard to find in istanbul!) comfortable, clean and very very helpful staff!

Hotel bathroom was the only real issue. Difficult to access because obstructed by the door. The shower head was blocked and the under sink cabinet doors were hanging off. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable and clean. The location is superb and there’s lovely restaurant 30 seconds away where we decided to have breakfast. The hotel breakfast wasn’t great, but was ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had an average stay.

The Ferman experience!
We were a family of 4 (two teenagers) who stayed 4 nights at Ferman Port Hotel, Deluxe Family Suite. The hotel has an excellent location - walking distance to many sights and also very quiet. The tram is just 100 meters away, and it takes you to all the main sights. The room was very clean, but there was no window, which felt a bit claustrophobic. There was just a "fake window" - not possible to look out. No sofa or places to sit, only on the beds. One bed was making noises/ creaking sounds when you moved in your sleep. A bit annoying. The roof top terrace has great view of the bosporous. This is where you have your breakfast. The breakfast is traditional and ok. We would have preferred freshly squeezed juice. But all over very nice. The service was great, very helpful people. They arranged reservations and taxis. Never any issues or misunderstandings. Spoke very good english. We can highly recommend the hotel, just ask for a room with a window :)

Great external location, weird internal location
The room was entirely internal facing, with a corridor outside the windows so anyone could see in! We had to keep the curtains closed the entire time (and it was a bit noisy in evening as people came back to the hotel) but it was clean, comfy and a great location
