La struttura è davvero in una posizione ottima, la camera era molto grande e pulita. Colazione ottima e abbondantissima nella terrazza all’ultimo piano con vista spettacolare. Se vogliamo trovare qualche difettino; camera con luce bassissima è il personale alla recption( non tutto) un po’ scocciato. Comunque ottima esperienza.

Bellissimo!
Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per una settimana con mio marito e mio figlio di quasi due anni e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Accoglienza, pulizia, disponibilità e gentilezza fanno di questo hotel un luogo in cui sentirsi a casa. Abbiamo soggiornato in una suite superior con una splendida vista sulla torre di Galata e le dimensioni della camera si sono rivelate giuste per le nostre esigenze. Il bagno non è grande,ma la doccia sì. Io ho riposato molto bene,anche se le camere non sono completamente insonorizzate. Letto e cuscini molto comodi, pulizia adeguata, regalo di benvenuto al nostro arrivo. La colazione è varia, si può fare anche sul terrazzo, con una vista impagabile e soprattutto si può fare fino a tardi. La cucina del ristorante è ottima e con un eccellente rapporto qualità- prezzo. La parte migliore dell'hotel è senza dubbio il personale. Tutte persone disponibili e gentili oltre che professionali. Non ho mai visto un'accoglienza così calorosa nei confronti di un bambino. L"ubicazione dell'hotel consente di muoversi agevolmente alla scoperta dei vai quartieri della città in quanto sono molto vicine le fermate del tram 1, del Tunel e della metro. La torre di Galata è a pochi metri, così come la famosa Istiklal caddesi. Ci è dispiaciuto tornare!

Everithing fine, friendly staff, beatiful breakfast on the rooftop , the area is very busy, bring some ear plugs because you could find someone singing in the middle of the night under the balcony like me but just one night, then everything was perfect, the hotel is beautiful.

Front desk staff were very helpful and tried their best to tend to all needs. Mehmet was a great help providing information and helping with check in and out. Cleaning staff need to be quieter as they start very early in the morning. We woke up around 7:00 am every morning because of the noise they were making and talking loudly considering that hallways were in marble and wood which make noises more vivid and transferable

Séjour Meroddi Barnathan
Hôtel idéalement situé près de la tour de Galata, non loin de la célèbre Istiklal Caddesi. Séjour impeccable : excellente prise en charge par les réceptionnistes, petit déjeuner riche et varié sous forme de buffet (à prendre en terrasse par beau temps avec en prime une vue splendide sur le Bosphore, la tour de Galata et Haliç) et hôtel décoré avec goût. A mon arrivée, j’ai eu la chance d’être reclassée en Junior Suite : très propre, spacieuse et peignoir à disposition. Je conseille absolument cet hôtel qui pour moi peut être qualifié de romantique.

Very classic, well managed, good location hotel
Very classic, well managed, good location hotel. Their roof-top restaurant for the breakfast is one of the bests. The only shortcoming is a small room but enough for couples. Highly recommend.

Overnight stay in Meroddi Barnathan
My wife and I had an overnight stay at Meroddi on the way back from another trip. The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a Suite with amazing views of Galata and Istanbul. The staff were always very friendly and hardworking. We had a memorable stay and I would recommend this hotel if you want to be in the middle of the Istanbul action!

Plek en bereikbaarheid van het hotel is goed . De netheid en verzorging van het hotel is ook goed en als je goede kamer hebt heb je zelfs fantastisch uitzicht op de Galata tower . Enige minpunt vonden wij sommige personeelsleden die meer met zich zelf bezig waren dan met gasten. Zo werd ons kamer sleutel gegeven met kamernummer zonder uitleg welk etage het was! En ook groeten van gasten was niet altijd even consequent. Algemeen goed

Great Hotel
The hotel had a great location, pop out the door and your in the middle of a busy shopping, and food district. The rooftop bar/restaurant had a great feel and picture perfect views. The food was great and reasonably priced. The wine was expensive US $12 glass but $75 for two with drinks is reasonable. The service was great. The room was clean and beautiful, had real style. The staff was always helpful and courteous. Would defiantly stay there again.

No bad for what you paid
Hotel is old but restore is in a great location, you can walk to everywhere from there, the service at the property restaurants is really slow and bad i will no recommend to eat there there is many more restaurants around, and forget to use the elevator, is very small and in the evening the blocked for the terrace use , try to stay in 1st floor, the view in the terrace is a plus to see sunsets.

were suprised how hilly the location was. If we had known we might have chosen another location. the small street was extremely busy with tourists, locals, cars and scooters which made it extremely noisy. earplugs were supplied by hotel, however triple glazing would be better. on the plus side the hotel has great views from breakfast terrace to the bosphorus and sultanhamet side of istanbul. hotel room was large ,spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day. food was good. 20% discount on food and drinks made it very competitive with other restaurants in area and in some cases cheaper.

Cet hôtel est mignon, architecture et décoration atypique mais attention ne vous attendez pas à vous reposer et dormir dans le calme. Le quartier est très animé, il y a énormément de passage en bas des fenêtres de l’hôtel (pas de volets, ni double vitrage) jusqu’à 2h du matin c’est très bruyant. J’ai souhaité séjourner dans cet hôtel avant tout pour savourer la vue sur la tour de Galata, depuis la terrasse du restaurant de l’hôtel qui est magnifique. L’hôtel est très propre, le personnel sympathique et très professionnel.

First thing to get out of the way - do not believe the quoted room sizes! We booked a "Deluxe Room with Sea View - 291 sq ft" and were given one that was 12ft x 10 ft (so 120 sq ft?) including the bijou bathroom! There was barely enough space to squeeze around the "Queen Size bed" - which in this case meant 'small double' - 6ft long so my feet hung over the end. It was so small we resented the space taken by the tiny 18 inch wide wardrobe. We queried this with reception but were told that we had the room we booked. So if you are considering this hotel go for the Deluxe Kingsize (and expect a standard roomsize so you won't be disappointed). Also ignore the "sound proofed rooms" feature - unless that refers to the earplugs that they give you on arrival? We were on the 4th floor directly below the restaurant so there was a bit of noise from there as well of course from the morning call to prayer (unavoidable in central Istanbul). Apart from this the hotel was great (seriously we enjoyed it!). Breakfast on the roof was gorgeous: for both the views and the food. The service was excellent: all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean and good quality. The location was perfect - in the heart of Galata (the tower is 100m away) with fabulous bars and restaurants in easy walking distance - though the walk down the hill to the Galata bridge is steep but downhill and it's even steeper coming back! I would recomend this hotel but do book a kingsize room!

IF YOU ARE A FOREIGN TRAVELER, DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! IT IS A SCAM!!! I am from the USA and vacationed in Greece. I used Turkish Air and had a 15 hour layover in Istanbul, so I decided to do a layover tour of Istanbul to see the Hagia Sophia, etc. I chose this hotel for 3 reasons - 1) It was located by the Galata Tower that I also wanted to visit, 2) Because my flight would get into Istanbul at 11:30pm and I wanted to ensure there would be no problems with check-in at such a late hour, 3) They had lots of amazing reviews. Unfortunately when I arrived, the front desk initially told me that they did not have a reservation. After talking with Expedia's customer service, they found my reservation. What had happened is that the hotel was fully booked. And even though I had made my reservation months in advance, the hotel gave away my reserved room and transferred my reservation to one of their other properties that they owned. According to the hotel, my new room was an "upgrade". I had paid extra to booked a nicer room (one with a guaranteed sea side view), but the room I received looked like I was staying at a hostel. You can see for yourself, the property they placed me in is the Meroddi Pera Flat. The hotel even had the audacity to charge me the full booking price! And I could do nothing about it because otherwise I would have no place to stay that night in Istanbul. The hotel totally took advantage that I was a foreign traveler to scam me! Do not book here!
