Golf Course Nightmare

I will get right to the point. This property was very clean, beautifully decorated, and an amazing location. That being said your rental is attached to the live in property manager by a wall, and on top of a golf course club house. Every morning they ran lawn mowers outside our window waking my 6 month old baby. They would just have it idling which was bizarre to me. Constant noise and traffic from the golf course traffic was annoying . The property manager was the oddest of all. When we met her she seemed afraid to stand near us because of Covid. We were handed instructions and everything seemed fine. We stayed for several days without issue, we had best friends that were staying with us and then left late to return to work, my brother in law was in Ithica and decided to join us. We did not go over numbers that we had documented for our stay. We were using the grill outside when this woman “property manager” started oddly peaking out all her windows then came out yelling at my husband, saying who is that pointing at my brother in law. She was not wearing her Covid mask while she berated us like children. She said “ the neighbor has been watching you, these are different people” Then she called me on my phone while I was putting our baby to bed, and I was baffled she would Not speak to my husband. She seemed to be spying on us, it was truly bizarre. I felt uncomfortable leaving my things there, felt we couldn’t be outside. We spent a lot of money to stay there and it was tainted by this crazed woman. I felt like she was listening to everything we did that we had to be quiet, if we were outside she peered through the shades. I am very respectful of the rules of Covid, my husband is a Philadelphia fireman. And I am emergency nurse , we have been actually living through this nightmare, and were in desperate need of a break we didn’t get. I have been intubating people with Covid for three months I think I would be respectful of the time we are living. Home and still angry.

Mary was great!

I didn't have time to meet Mary, the property manager, but she was great to us. My friend did meet her. She virtually helped me with finding things to do in the area. Easy check in process. Clean. I would go back. Thanks for the memory!

Very special place

We truly enjoyed our stay...so much so that my husband said that he missed being there. Mary and her crew were wonderful! The place was perfect. We loved it!

Great getaway in the Finger Lakes

We planned a weekend trip to the Finger Lakes for a bike ride and to check out the local wineries and breweries. This property was a great location for us. The check-in process was very easy and the staff at the golf course were very friendly. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Peaceful stay near Cornell

Our family of 4 was very comfortable in this 3 BR apartment over the pro shop of a lovely golf course. The owner was very welcoming and it was a convenient 20 minute drive to Cornell, where our kids were in a tennis camp. We would highly recommend this location and would stay here again.

Above & Beyond

This place was much better than we imagined! Clean and beautifully decorated!! Mary went above and beyond in regard to making us feel at home, including supplying us with coffee, and breakfast food! We were blown away when we opened the refrigerator! The fire pit in back was even all ready for a fire. We were super impressed, and will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us to Ithaca in the future!! Thanks, Mary :)
