Horrible conditions
Room was extremely hot upon arrival, bathroom dirty,,,lobby had molded smell, carpets look filthy, condition of building horrible. Had we not already paid we would have left, I’m sure they would NOT have given a refund. Lady at front seat at checkin you could barely understand her words.

A worn down hotel. No smokedetectors. Low standard. But very friendly staff which made our stay :-)

Demolition Motel
Nothing worked. Luckily we had two rooms and AC keep 2nd cool enough for us to rest before hitting the road. TV didn't even have power to it. Next day we were informed by a local that the building was to be demolished.

Don't stay here
As soon as you walk in the lobby there is a smell. Outside looks old and run down. Stains on towels. Towels yellowed. Paint peeling. Bed seems older than i am, very uncomfortable.

Oldie but goodie
We just needed a room in our budget for showers and sleep while in town for a comic convention. This hotel fit the need. It’s a little run down but was still good. Every hotel worker we met were friendly and very nice. Room was a good sized room. Clean and quiet. No breakfast but the canteen behind the counter was well stocked. The only thing we ran into was the electrical sockets in the room wouldn’t hold anything plugged into them(phone/Switch chargers)and the bathroom door catch was broke so the door wouldn’t shut all the way. All in all, if we’re in town for the comic con next year, we’d stay here again.

The customer service was great but my room smelled like cigarettes. It was a non-smoking room. Plus, there were dead bugs in the bathroom

Disappointing for a Regency.
The checkin staff was rude. The lobby was dirty and had torn plastic sheet at checkin counter i guess for covid precautions. Our view was a brick wall. You get what you pay for. Had a securitydepisit held for almost the amount of the room.

Very clean
This hotel is a little dated but very clean. Hotel staff was great! It is located directly across rose from the Coliseum.

All the towels had dark spots on them as if people had been cleaning their shoes with them. This was still the case even after asking for more towels. The towels were very aged. There were many transcients walking around and entering the.hotel.

We booked this hotel due to the convenient location from the Coliseum and found that the location was the only thing good about the place. Beyond terrible experience from start to finish. From rude staff to dirty room to WiFi not working, we will NEVER book this property again. Not to mention the entire place smells and you can legit buy condoms at the front desk. GROSS!

This is more like an hourly motel. Not safe! They sell condoms at the counter!

I am new to the front desk, but I can assure you, this is a safe hotel. We sell about 500 different items behind the front desk in the lobby. I'm sorry if the condoms offended you. Hopefully you were ok with all the snacks, cold drinks, tampons and Tylenol. We try to do all that we can to ensure the best stay possible for our guests!

HORRIBLE & SCARY not like pics at all!!
HORRIBLE. Your pictures need updating!! First room had stain on sheets.second room alittle better but we went to store and bought sheets to sleep on. Back security door was busted so anybody could’ve walked in. This was the worst night. We were so close in leaving but didn’t have anywhere to go. New to city. It was horrible and scary!!!

I am sorry you did not feel safe. We had the Mississippi State Fair directly across the street and we were booked to capacity! Yes, somebody busted our side entrance door due to them loosing their key in the middle of the night. Our rates stay low, therefore we might not have the whitest sheets in town, but they are washed in hot water and bleach. Thank you

The room was not very clean. The towels, wash clothes and sheets were clean but we’re not white. They needed to be bleached. The side entrance doors were always left open. Anyone could walk in at any time. There were thousands of people in the area because of the state fair across the street.

Yes, due to the state fair, things got a little crazy at our hotel. We are quickly restoring all the problems that came from the fair now!

The hotel could be nice if they did some upkeep maintenance to the place...the front desk lady was really nice...i had two rooms because we evacuated my sister and our familes...my sis saw a few lil critters in her bathroom that she had to kill never had anyone come to the room to clean we just replaced towels an threw out trash they didnt have a pool or gym or no one to clean the common areas of the hotel its an old hotel but just because its old doesnt mean it has to look that way our toilet made a funny noise when we flushed it was really loud..i feel with a lil upkeep it could be nice an they need to get someone to keep tgat hallways an lobby clean and sanitized..i feel like they didny want to have the pool open cuz they dont want to pay for the upkeep of keeping it clean dont feel it had anything to do with covid other hotels in the area pool was open

Took 30 -45 min to check-in because only 1 person at desk and line existed. Smelled of smoke and stale air. While in line overhead someone cautioning women not to walk around alone at night. Later some guy was loitering near entry door and being told to leave and not bother guests. He was said to be a crackhead and trying to sell drugs. In our non-smoking room it smelled of smoke remnants, the refrigerator had frozen water bottles, ice, and other items within it, the system did not work properly in keeping items cold although freezer had sections that kept things frozen. Towels were very thin, shower was dirty and sheets had a lot of wrinkles and dust items - as if they had not been changed from previous guest. Bad experience overall. :(

Never made it to the actual desk . Did not stay! Left due to not feeling safe. Witnessed drug deal in parking lot and prostitutes on sidewalk before we even went inside. Do not stay here! Dangerous neighborhood! No security on Property !

Avoid at all cost
I don't even want to list all the things that were wrong with this hotel. It should be a motel not a hotel. This property needs an extreme update of everything from the exterior to definitely the interior. The staff was nice but overall I WOULD NOT recommend staying here.

I didn’t even end up staying here because the facility was so dingy and so dirty, it did not seem suitable for my family. The facility looked nothing like the photos.

Disgusting
This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I did not want to walk on the carpet without shoes. The bathroom is disgusting and sticky. The sheets had grease stains and wholes. The air and pictures on the walls have mildew and mold.

Staff were really nice but the property was dirty and run down. The hallway smelled like Marijuana, the toilet seat was filthy, there was a dead roach under the mattress. Worst place I’ve ever stayed! But the staff were very friendly and they accept pets.

Sketchy neighborhood, vagrants around, possibly selling drugs out of building. Left my room in the morning with my dog on her leash, only to be met by 2 chihuahuas running down the hallway barking at us! Outside door was propped open so flies were in the vestibule. No security. The receptionist stayed in a room to the side so it seemed unattended. No pool. No breakfast. A/C problems and had to change rooms because TV didn’t work properly.

We want to let every one know Regency hotel's manager and staffs always go above and beyond to satisfied all of our customers and our hotel hire a very profession security company. vagrants have no homes and go around all over the city that we should write to Government let them do their job to help poor people

There was stains in the bedding, holes in the wall, and the a suffocating smell in the room that wouldn’t go away. And the ac didn’t work. I left immediately

We are striving to be the best and to improve our customer service care and improve all of hotel rooms but some people on purposely to damage the rooms and put stains on new bed sheets, we made a lots of changes recently

If you slumming this the one!
It was a terrible stay. My husbans booked this hotel because in was cheap and in close proximity to Jackson State. 1ST We arrived early(as staed in booking) Because my daughter's orientation started at 845am. Do While Pulling into the parking lot should I have told me it was not a good place to stay; ,walking in the smell did!!! Upon checking in i was told i couldnt check in. (But my room was ready) Until 3pm but if i paid $20 more I could. If not come back at 1pm, and she would chrck me in. Came back at 1. Get to room carpet dirty bathroom wasnt clean and iit smell horrible the toilet ran all night. The stairs and halls smelled like urine. We was supposed to have stayed 2nights but i checked out the next morning. This hotel is not a family oriented place it has drug dealers and prostitution. The same lady that checked me in checked me out and told me i should havee told them i was checjing out a day early. and tried to charge me. WOULD MOT RECOMMEND NOR EVER SYAY HERE AGAIN! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR EVERY TIME!!

Regency hotel service community in Jackson many many years and Regency hotel's staffs go above and beyond to satisfied all of our customers, so one who stayed at hotel before check in or after check out time that extra fees apply

Absolutely Awful! I got to the hotel late, at midnight, after driving all day. I was exhausted. Check in took 30 minutes. The room was old, smelled, and the carpet was gross. Although there were no vacancies at any hotels nearby I walked out and drove 3 more hours to stay at another hotel.

I enjoyed the poor cat. I'm glad to see it found a good home. I was disappointed it didn't have breakfast as advertised. That's why I chose this motel over another.

We liked the cat in the font lobby.🙂 The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The elevator door didn't shut by itself, you had to pull the green strap to close it. 😬
