Secluded with amazing view from hot tub.Gated mountain top.Won’t be disappointed

Located approximately 1,000’ from our first cabin at Maco’s Mountain Resort with the same great views of the Appalachian Mountains. This cabin actually has an extra 64sqft and a extra twin bed in a second loft. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee with the Keurig or 12 cup coffee maker (Coffee not provided) and relax in the 6 person hottub admiring the beautiful night sky. This is the perfect place for a peaceful family getaway. WIFI is now available.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Great location for a family getaway with fantastic view from atop the mountain. You are not on top of any neighboring property which makes for a peaceful time with no unwanted noise or distractions. Easy drive to Red River Gorge for day hiking followed up with wonderful fireside evening with views from the hot tub.

Communication and cleanliness of the space was perfect. Nice hot tub, stunning view, and very peaceful. Not a fan of that gate to get out. Took about 7 minutes to get out the last time. We couldn’t get the gate to acknowledge our vehicle.

Good place for the money, great view, fairly private. Gated entrance is awesome. Had a very clear night the first night and was able to soak in the hot tub and look at all the stars, very cool experience. The place itself needs some work inside. The bed is awful, every movement made a loud squeaking sound. The flooring is separated in some spots in the kitchen. Walking barefoot made my feet black, dust bunnies in the corners and the shower curtain has mold around the bottom. Some of the jets didn't work in the hot tub and it's super slow to heat up, but the water was clear and looked clean. There was a mouse that ran through the kitchen, kind of put a damper that night, but you are in a cabin in the woods, soooo....... The kitchen could use some better cookware, we brought our own because it's not the first cabin we've stayed in, but the selection is terrible. Overall it's a great value for a great spot, but needs a little TLC.

Great place to go relax. Very private and secure. Host was responsive and helpful when booking. The view from the deck is amazing, and the hot tub is perfectly placed to enjoy it. Cabin was clean and comfortable. No washer and dryer so keep that in mind when you pack. Small town about 10-15 minutes away with a few restaurants, groceries, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

This little cabin was great! Our only issue was that there was only one roll of toilet paper and no tissues or coffee. I wish they had just charged a little bit more and had those things there already. The place could also benefit from some blankets. Otherwise, everything was great! The hot tub was amazing.
