Ocean Views and Private Pool: Classic 1950’s Beach Gem

Escape the ordinary and unwind in style on the beautiful beaches of Amelia Island. This home was designed with vacationing in mind! Our three bedroom house - directly across the street from the beach - features 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with extremely comfortable furnishings. The Master bedroom boasts newly updated furnishings, and is equipped with a king size bed as well as luxury linens/pillows so you can rest the night away. Bedroom 2 also contains a king sized bed, luxury linens, and relaxing décor! The third bedroom- a comfortable queen that has some great peek- a-boo views of the ocean. Relax and unwind in the fully upgraded bathroom which features a walk-in marble shower and rainfall showerhead with hand wand. In addition, there is our beach bathroom as we call it, located conveniently near the patio, is the perfect place to wash off your sandy feet after a great day at the beach! Enjoy the open concept living room with comfortable furnishings, a 65" 4k TV, and well stocked kitchen with loads of natural light spilling in. Sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening fire on the front patio while listening to the ocean .

All of this is just a 5 minute walk from the beach! Stroll just a blocks to the north and enjoy one of the least crowded beaches in Northeast Florida. Enjoy shark teeth hunting? You have found your spot as this area is known as a "honey hole" for shark teeth! A short walk on the beach (or road side) puts you at 3 great beachfront restaurants. Take a short bike ride to the enchanted and world renowned Fort Clinch State Park. Our house is also a short 5-minute drive from historic downtown Fernandina Beach where you can enjoy some of the finest restaurants in Northeast Florida!

Amelia Island is a dream vacation spot. It is truly one of the most beautiful islands in the world and is filled with fantastic beaches, restaurants, and southern charm. We have fallen in love, and we are sure you will too!

This home is very well maintained and I would highly recommend a stay here. We received prompt responses from the host and were provided with very good details to prepare us for arrival. She even provided us with restaurants to go to and links. Very helpful. The home has a view of the ocean through the homes across the street and you can hear the waves while enjoying coffee on the side porch. The walk to the beach access was very minimal and easy to get to. There are beach accesses along the entire beach. I was not sure if I needed a rental car and was very glad that I did get one. There were a couple places to walk to but mostly we felt we needed a vehicle. Back to the home, the pool and hot tub were the best to have. So clean and the host would turn on the hot tub for us so it was ready and warm. So thankful for that! Very clean, beds were very comfortable/king size, full kitchen with some spices. All we needed were the groceries. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to my next stay!

Great beach home getaway. Across street from beach. About a block or so from public beach access walkways. Also within walking distance from a few restaurants, surf shop, putt putt, and even Fort Clinch State Park for a hike. Heated pool hot tub are great. Back patio was also nice for hanging out. Looks like there’d be ample shade for summer heat. Outdoor kitchen was under construction, but that would make for a really nice outdoor hangout and pool scene when it’s complete. Nice kitchen. Furniture and beds were comfortable. All around recommend the home, and the host was very responsive to questions.

This was the perfect spur of the moment getaway. I loved the location that it was only a few minutes walk to the beach and an easy drive into the historic area for restaurants and sights to see. The home was cute/clean and the outdoor space was wonderful for relaxing. Communication with the host was super easy and they were always responsive. I have raved about this place already to my friends and would definitely stay here again.

We love this beach cottage. Of course I always overpack but I am learning pack light. Ashley & Brian are terrific host! If I had a question they made me feel very comfortable to contact them. Weather was pretty except a couple of days but the pool was terrific for a dreary day and small kids. Location is perfect. Will definitely be back!

Very nice place. Well taken care of and clean. A short walk to the beach. The pool was great, and I'm sure the new outdoor kitchen being installed will be great! It was a bit short on storage (a dresser in only one bedroom, not too many kitchen cabinets). The only tv was in the living room. The outdoor bathroom was ok, but we didn't use it if we didn't need to. Nice decor. Everything we needed was there. Pleasant owner. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks!!

Great location. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool, which was always cold (it had a “chiller” element). It was a perfect beach house, equipped with everything we needed. Can’t wait to see the finished outdoor area (under construction) next year when we return. Thanks Ashley for allowing us to stay and play at our favorite place!

A little piece of sunshine

I would honestly give this 5 stars but some stuff needs to be told so others know. First off the whole pool area made the vacation. Looks like they tore down a garage and either building a new one or making an outdoor space which is nice. The space is nice for the 3 bedrooms. The one bed with the black poles squeaks bad so we moved to another room. The shower is very nice but DO NOT use the spray handle or you will get water everywhere and last...know this is really only a 1 bathroom. We did read that so we were prepared. The other bathroom is outside on the porch and we used it for the pool. It also has the laundry and small shower. Last, from the pics it shows a larger/different couch so they must have just changed it out. The house does need some small work cause it is weathered but I loved we could have our little fur baby with us and the beach is just a short walk away. OHH last thing lol. We didn't think we had a TV. Just note in the living room they have a beautiful painting that is actually the TV so grab the remote and it is easy to log into.

Great Location

House is located in a great location. Easy access to the beach. Pool was very nice and clean. The house is very cute but could use some minor maintenance on the inside and outside. Very friendly and helpful host. Great communication. We would stay with this host again. We also appreciated that they let us bring our pups.

Short golf trip

The house is aged but comfy inside. The outside needs some TLC. Lawn is weeds / stone. The pool is great but broken lawn furniture stuffed on side of it. Garage is not open to guests. It basically has rotted doors as well as totted side doors by pool. Cant beat location and price is commensurate with property condition. The host was very responsive for all communications. I would recommend the property for location and pool and overall a good value for 3 brothers on a 5 day golf vacation.

Last minute weekend visit with our boys!

We were driving up from West Palm Beach on business and two of our boys live in the area, one in Jacksonville and one at Ft. Stewart. We all met here for a quick weekend visit. The pool was great! Had some awesome chairs and a wagon for the beach. It was wonderful! Super comfortable beds and pretty house! Loved it!

Great pool, super close to beach. Clean. Comfortable beds.

Wonderful location, clean, nice bedding and mattresses. Good parking. Fenced yard. Separate 2nd bathroom/laundry just outside in another building off the pool area, that was great! The pool was much needed and appreciated. The beach is a 2 minute walk and visible from the house in a few spots. My dog loved it! The inside could use some paint, as well as the outside. Maybe some new doors for the whole garage and definitely some outdoor lighting around the driveway, pool and walkways. A beautiful little beach house that we adored and would love to come back to. The backyard will be in process of a beautiful pool/patio covered entertainment area I was informed by the owner. Once again, the pool is fabulous! I will definitely return because the owners are amazing and kind people who respect nature and animals.

Beach Bliss

The house was exactly as described and had everything we could need for a delightful stay. Beds were comfortable and clean. Pool and hot tub were clean and so nice to have after a day at the beach. Had coffee by the fire in the morning. We would definitely stay at this adorable beach house again.

Short beach getaway

My wife and I stay a few days with teenage grandchildren. We enjoyed the stay. Just across the street from the beach. Nice outside areas with fire pit and outdoor sitting areas. Had trouble getting hot tube to heat up. We still enjoyed the quiet beach stay.

Close & Comfortable

We stayed a week with our adult children and it was wonderful. Very close to the public beach access. Had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the pool and spa. The beach bathroom was very convenient for use while out at the pool or lounging on the covered patio. We actually appointed the boys to accommodate the bathroom. While we had a couple rainy days it was nice having the covered patio and covered side porch to utilize during the rain and still able to enjoy the outside. The home was situated nicely with the parking being off and away from the street. First time to Fernandina Beach, we all enjoyed our stay.

Home away from home

We had 6 adults and 2 small children. Infant 3 months and a child 3 years old. The weather has been dreary, but with the pool the kids had a great time. This place was just as it describes. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again
