Welcome to our majestic 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located just north of downtown Jacksonville. Nestled in the historic district of Springfield. With its prime location, this spacious and inviting retreat, it's perfect for families, friends, or colleagues seeking a memorable stay in the Bold City.

PLEASE READ: There is a guest home (2 bedroom/1 bathroom) behind the home that we have as a separate listing. This guest suite has its own private entrance and there is no way to access the main part of the home. This guest home may or may not be rented during your stay. Please send inquiry to confirm. If you're interested in renting this part as well, please reach out with an inquiry and we can arrange a discounted rate.

The downstairs area of the main home features a beautiful, open kitchen with a vast amount of cabinets. Brand new stainless steel appliances and fully stocked with all of the gadgets and kitchen utensils you'll need for a comfortable stay.

There's also an inviting living room area that features a smartTV with two couches.

The downstairs area has a bathroom with standing shower and a brand new washer/dryer.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms along with a shared bathroom.
Bedroom 1: A queen mattress with two closets. No TV.
Bedroom 2: Two twin mattresses with closet and SmartTV.
Bedroom 3: A king mattress with closet and SmartTV

Just outside of bedroom 3 is a den with a small work desk and access to the upstairs balcony. The upstairs shared bathroom has a classical bathtub with a wrap around curtain.

The SmartTVs are set up for Bring Your Own Login. We don’t offer any streaming/cable services.

Our rules are listed below:

- Please don’t flush wet wipes down the toilet. This unit has sensitive pipes and it will cause the sewer to back into the property. We kindly ask to dispose wet wipes in trash.

-Early check-in or late check-out is available for a fee. Please send inquiry for details.

- ***No parties or illegal activity allowed on site*** GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY AND BE FINED $1,000 PUS ANY EXPENSES AS A RESULT OF DAMAGES OR ADDITIONAL CLEANINGS.

- No eating or drinking in the bedrooms (closed water bottles are an exception). Additional cleaning fees to remove food/drink stains will apply.

- Up to 6 additional day visitors are allowed.
- Limited to 2 pets less than 35 lbs (additional fee of $80 will apply)

- Communicate problems at check-in or upon discovery to give the host 24 hours to remedy the issue.

- Expectation is for the home to be returned in the condition in which you found it.

Great experience

Reasonable, clean, plenty of room, great restaurants nearby, close to downtown. Host was in contact with us, just checking in. Very smooth stay throughout.

Oh NoT Quite The “Gem” As Promised

The Gem is in Desperate need of a thorough cleaning paint repairs & new furnishings. No outlet cover in L/R & another in the upstairs B/R was hanging out of the wall a true SAFETY HAZARD. Every single towel was either dingy, stained or old, ONLY 1 towel rod. Everywhere you looked the upstairs bth/rm window, dining room & coffee table, refrigerator (dispenser), stove, dish drain, decorative pillows, L/rm chair, baseboards, banister, dwn/stairs bth/rm door, glass shower, washer & dryer were either stained, dusty, filthy dirty, or in need of repair or replacement. There were missing curtains. I can go on & on. The owner scheduled a sewer pipe replacement during our stay, it didn’t interrupt our stay, but starting @ 7:30a on a Sat morning loud music, digging & banging, it was quite nerve-racking & stressful. We were told not to use the toilet perhaps consider “poop’in & p*ss outside.” The property mgr & owner responded immediately to emails & apologized for the condition of the “Gem” & issue w/check-in, As Travelers know “apologies“ mean Nothing nor does it correct the problems during the stay especially filth as well as the misrepresentation of a property during a Holiday Wknd. BE AWARE of Ying’s properties. Very Shocked this property can list w/VRBO! Utter Disappointment!
