Adorable Condo One Block to Beach ~ Easy Walk to Beach!

Welcome to “Fun in the Sun”!

Escape the worries of everyday life at this wonderfully updated and beautifully furnished, “family-friendly” condo at Forest Ridge Village with everything needed for a memorable vacation! This “Fun in the Sun” condo is located in the closest condo building within the community to the beach which is just a short 5-minute walk.

The Forest Ridge community is a beautiful area with majestic oak trees and flowering shrubs, spacious community pool, two tennis courts and a playground area for the children and all within walking distance to the beach.

When walking through the front door you will notice the updates throughout as well as tasteful finishes. The open concept of the living room/kitchen/dining area makes for an easy flow. The updated kitchen island area has seating for 6 and a coffee bar area with a Keurig and a standard drip coffee maker for your morning “caffeine needs”. The living room has a comfortable seating area with large flat screen tv for streaming your favorite shows after everyone has returned from a fun filled day at the beach, pool or just strolling the Historic Fernandina Beach area.

The primary suite has a king bed for and comfortable bedding for relaxing with a large tv with cable and streaming and a large closet area.

The second bedroom has twin over full bunkbed with an extra twin bed for the children to enjoy their own space as well as ample closet space.

The shared hall bathroom has been beautifully updated to maximize space with a beautiful vanity area and shower/tub combination and plenty of storage. Just outside the bathroom is a full-size washer/dryer to help with all your laundry needs.

Don’t worry about bringing too much! Beach towels, beach cart, beach and pool gear, beach chairs and a beach umbrella are provided! Everything needed for a beach or pool filled day!

Whether you’re relaxing on the uncrowded beaches of Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island, enjoying the salt air and ocean breezes, shelling or shark tooth hunting, taking a refreshing swim in the pool, playing a match or two on the tennis courts, or just touring the historic district of Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island, come and make “Fun in the Sun” at Forest Ridge your paradise found!

Great Location, Great Accommodations

Unit and linens were very clean. It was very easy to get to since it is the first parking spot of the complex. The pool area looked nice, but we didn't use it. I had priced hotels/motels in the area and we got a lot more for slightly more. It is the first of many vacation rentals we have stayed in that had so many extras supplied right down to a jar of cotton balls and Q-tips. The ice maker in full sized refrigerator, great DW, washer/dryer, a lot of closet space, TV's that get the major channels (and many more), etc., all help to make it a comfortable home away from home.Although we had groceries from a nearby Publix, we also enjoyed dining at several places and traffic was always a breeze with nice scenery.

Loved the Getaway!

We loved staying here with our little family with 2 kids. The beach and pool are close and I loved having our own rooms and space. We loved the area and was pleasantly surprised at how not crowded the beach was this visit. The host was great and provided our needs while being very communicative.

Great condo in a wonderful location

We loved this condo! The location was wonderful, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the bunk room was perfect for our kids and it was all very well decorated. Our family loved that we had a very short walk to a beautiful part of the beach. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful condo!

I stayed at this condo this past weekend with my Mom to celebrate her 70th birthday. It was a wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and a great location. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We also enjoyed the thoughtful details in this condo - it had everything we needed!

Updated condo in great location

We enjoyed our stay. The condo accommodated our family of four well. We enjoyed the tennis courts and playground. It’s convenient to biking trails and the beach. The large kitchen island open to the living room was a nice design.

Deposit fee takes forever to be refunded

Place is awesome and super nice and clean. However, dishwasher did not work and the fact that there was a tab already in tells me that it was not working before. Main issue for only 2 stars overall is the fact that I had to wait almost 2 weeks to get my deposit back. This is way too long for such a large amount.

Superb Location

The location of this property is ideal, at the entrance to Forest Ridge, a short walk to a nice section of quiet beach and within beach walking distance of Slider’s and the action at Seaside. Located mid-island, everything worth seeing and doing on Amelia is easily accessible from here. Forest Ridge itself is a quiet condo community of residents and renters, and at least in the off-season it’s peaceful and friendly. We found the unit itself to be comfortable and reasonably equipped. Appliances are modern, including a very nice washer and dryer, plenty of storage space in the kitchen and master bedroom. The rental agent was accessible and very accommodating, promptly addressing two issues we had upon arrival: The tub/shower drain was clogged – a plumber was quickly dispatched and made a short-term fix but the problem was recurring by the end of our 3-week stay – and the deck was moldy and dirty – the agent sent someone to scrub off the mold. The unit could use a good housecleaning; it wasn’t dirty, but it was minimally clean.

Perfect spot

Loved this condo. Super cleaned, well styled and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Convenient to everything. We have 3 kids, ages 13, 9 and 8, and the setup was ideal. We will be back!

Cute little condo- family fun!

This was a cute little family condo that accommodated 5 of us for five nights just fine. Beach access 24 is being worked on, so we drove to access 25 or some other beaches. Everything is 30 minutes or less in proximity!! Great vacation! Thanks for a great stay in a great place.

GREAT CONDO!

We had a great week at this condo! This is our second time staying in Forest Ridge! Its a great location and it was exactly as pictured! The kitchen had everything that we needed! I definitely recommend it and would stay here again!!:)
