Beachside with Billiard Room & Beach Cruisers!

The Ruby Sea Turtle is a newly renovated Family Friendly 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Home located blocks from the Atlantic Ocean in North Jacksonville Beach. We provide a clean, comfortable, and private beach experience for all of our guests. Sleeping arrangements can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. After a long day at the beach, come back and relax in front of the 70inch TV or challenge a friend to a game of pool!

So why The Ruby Sea Turtle?
Founded in 1884 by the Scull family, Jacksonville Beach was first known as Ruby Beach. William E. and Eleanor Scull were the first family to settle the area, working a post office and general store while living in tents on the beach with their two children, "Ruby" and Bessie. What began as a small, nearly unpopulated, nineteenth-century outpost on the route between Mayport and St. Augustine eventually grew into the thriving and lively Jacksonville Beach we know today. With our love for local history and wildlife, we decided to name the house after a combination of the historical Ruby Beach and the beautiful Sea Turtles that nest along our shores.

No pets or parties, maximum 6 guests. Quiet Hours are between 10:00PM and 7:00AM Daily. Be considerate of the noise level after 9PM.
All Vehicles Must be parked in Driveway. Only Beach towels allowed to be taken to the beach.
All Bikes when not is use must be secured with provided lock. Renter will be Charged for Lost or Stolen Bikes.

Absolutely perfect little home; very thought out and cared for. Hate it didn’t have a icemaker, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Would have loved to have had more dresser space and curtains or blinds that dimmed the bright light in the bedrooms but they weren’t dealbreakers either. Great location for a great stay. The pool table room was so much fun and we spent most of our time in there.

This place was the best! Over the past 7 mos. I have experienced several unexpected devastating losses, to include my mother and best friend. I needed to hit the mental reset button and this place did just that. Location, thoughtfulness to what you would need during your stay was impressive. Loved the Dukes in the fridge(country girl through and through)! This home is a must! The outdoor is shower so insagram worthy. We will be back!! The hosts are amazing as well!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious, featuring a well-equipped kitchen and a delightful game room complete with a pool table. Its location offered convenient access to the beach and various shops, with a short drive to the town center. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this property. I would like to give compliments to the host of this property. Although it is a smaller/older property, the home is extremely clean, well maintained and most of all exceeded expectations on amenities provided by the host! We could not have asked for a better say. The location is super convenient to beach access and local restaurants. Would not hesitate to rent this property again in the future :)

We spent Easter at this fun beachy home. We had everything we needed for a holiday gathering. We also loved the beach cruisers and proximity to gorgeous beaches. Thomas was a welcoming and gracious host!

Cozy and clean!

Came for a short stay to enjoy the beach with our kids. They had a great time playing pool, loved all the cozy details of the home. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. Perfect location for quick drive or bike ride to the beach, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely come stay again!

Cozy House Close to Beach

The house was very cozy and clean. It was a very short drive to the beach and centrally located to some very good nearby restaurants. The bikes were a great added feature. The only suggestions that I might make are a table large enough for 6 people to sit at and enjoy meals inside and some wine glasses. Other than that, our stay was fabulous.

The kids

I am a foster parent .I took all my foster kids to the beach for a small vacation to the beach for all there hard work at school and getting good grades .They loved every thing about the beach house they were so excited .The beach was just a couple miles down the road from where we stayed .They played pool everyday in the game room at the beach house.The Host was awsome always answered my e-mails . No problem with the home at all the neighbors were also great .Will stay again .
