The views will blow you away. This sprawling property is amazing both inside and out. Outside, you'll find a dining patio with a BBQ. Kick back to watch the sun set into the water or large ships cruise right pass you!
Home remodeled and everything is NEW!



The property is on Little Marsh Island, which is one of the islands that connects Jacksonville and Amelia Island and runs along the St. Johns River. The islands have been referred to as "The North Florida Keys" and "Jacksonville's Best Kept Secret"
- Located 1 mile from Palm's Fish Camp +boat ramp
- 4 miles away from Ferry crossing (Ferry takes passengers and automobiles from Heckscher Drive to Mayport Village and the Beaches) -Close to several State and City Parks (Talbot Island State Parks, Fort George Island State Park, Kingsley Park, Hanna Park, Hugenot Park)
- 18 miles to the Omni Amelia Island Resort
- 17 miles to downtown Jacksonville and the TIAA Bank Field (NFL)
- 17 miles to the St Johns Town Center (Jacksonville’s upscale open air mall)
- 20 miles via the ferry to Sawgrass (PGA)
-15 mins to Publix and shopping centers
-15 mins to restaurants with an exception of 3 that are very nearby.
-Attention fisherman: You can’t get any closer to the ocean! There are lots of tournaments and you are minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean. (Boat lift is
not for guest use) House is located on a main shipping channel which makes the tides go up and down by 6-9 feet which means you cannot tie up a boat to the dock. If you are bringing a boat we recommend putting in/put at local ramp and just enjoying the dock for sitting on, hanging out, fishing etc.. please mention if you are bringing a boat when booking so we can go over everything.

House is full of information on all parks+resturants+things to do!

There is a non refundable $400 pet fee.
Outdoor fire pit and fireplace are not available for guest use. They do not work.

** NO HOUSE PARTIES, NO UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS.
QUIET HOURS: ALL DAY. There is never a time that music can be turned up, people yelling/celebrating. Our neighbors are very close by and respecting them is our number one priority. If rules are broken/ neighbors report, guests will be asked to leave immediately, and your payment will be forfeited. This is absolutely not the place for any social gatherings. This property is located in a very quiet neighborhood with neighbors close by.

Surveillance cameras are present around the entire exterior of the property located at all corners, pointing to the outside of the entire home including the dock and pool deck area for safety purposes.

We had a wonderful much needed family gathering at this beautiful property for my youngest autistic grandson's spring break and birthday celebration. The house and property couldn't have been more perfect, and the communication and consideration of the guest needs from the amazing host Maghen was over and above anything we have experienced at a VRBO property before! Starting with the birthday sign and treats left by Maghen, to the spotless clean house, the extremely comfortable beds to the wonderful outside spaces and the dock. The game room and home gym were used for playing and watching movies, the dock was where you could find my oldest 23-year-old grandson enjoying the nice fishing rods and bait provided by the house along with some great pool lounges and toys. The hammocks were extremely popular on the dock, and the kitchen was used to prepare most meals as we had about everything we needed there. I would be remiss if I did not talk about the sunsets and dolphin watching off the dock in the evenings. We were lucky enough to be there as a family to watch the Artemis lift off from the top of the dock followed by the full pink moon and hundreds of dolphins the last evening we were there. We saw dolphins every night, but the size of the pods under the full moon was breathtaking. Many wonderful experiences and memories were made at this beautiful, comfortable property! We will definitely be back!

The house was just as presented! Very clean and comfortable! Meghan was so accommodating and went out of her way to make our stay extra special. A great place to stay with indoor pool, hot tub, ping pong table etc!

Everything about our experience at The Island Estate was perfect. This home had beautiful decor, plenty of room for everyone for meals and for relaxing, well-stocked kitchen with many extra amenities, comfortable clean bedrooms and baths, and fantastic outdoor spaces, including a great pool and hot tub, and a massive dock area where we enjoyed the spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset, as well as dolphins and ships cruising past. We even witnessed a sea turtle swim up to the dock supports. Our host, Maghen, was wonderful. We entered and saw huge Welcome basket and precious personalized sign, and felt immediately at home. She told us about all of the outdoor accessories for our use and where to find them in the house. She also offered great tips on local restaurants, beaches, activities, groceries and delivery services. This home met, then quickly surpassed, our expectations. We would love to stay here again.

Fabulous! First, we were welcomed by a beautiful sign for the whole family. Then a delicious charcuterie board was delivered! The house is beautiful with the most comfortable beds! It rained for 2 days and the kids spent all the time in the pool as it was covered. There were great pool toys there and a big float the kids loved. We loved sitting around the pool with all the comfortable seating. The house was perfect for our family! The kids loved the bunk bedroom and game room too! Great sitting areas for the whole family. We had a chef come in one night for my big birthday celebration and it was perfect. We all loved the house, and everyone wants to go back.Maghen was a great communicator. She checked in to make sure everything was going well. She told us that she had plenty of baby stuff for our 3-month-old. And she sure did! The house had everything you could ask for. It is so comfortable and perfect for families to be together.We went to the Jacksonville Zoo which is so close one day and it was so fun. I highly recommend this house for any gathering. Maghen was a joy to work with-we had to add an extra day due to our flight cancellation, and she was so accommodating and helpful. It was truly a magical weekend for me and my family.

A great getaway

The house was immaculate. We spent most of the time out by the pool playing games and watching ships go by. It was very entertaining. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen. We did a few outings to Amelia Island which is not far away. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Meghan!

River house

The house worked well for our family which included several generations. The enclosed pool was great, it allowed us to be outside without the insects. We encountered several maintenance issues with the house while there. The response from the owner was very fast and the issues were quickly taken care of. We had a good week.

Family Gathering

We really had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home and it was perfect for all my family that were coming in from out of state for my son' wedding. Meghan was great to answer any questions promptly and the welcome gift was a nice touch. Only complaint is the house is much older than the photos from the advertisement listing and the there was very little water pressure in the bathrooms. This became very difficult at night when everyone needed a shower before going to bed. The home defiantly needs some updating...

Beautiful luxurious home

Highly recommend this luxurious house with every amenity you and your family could need. Conveniently located and private enough for a peaceful getaway. My family and I are definitely planning to return to this paradise in Jacksonville. Owners communicated well and are very hospitable. Check in was a breeze. A can’t miss stay!

AMAZING!!!!

This serene beauty and gem was exactly what we needed!! The house was immaculate and spacious. The outside was very well kept. I don't what this place didn't have. Because I'm a chef, we brought things from our house we didn't need. This place was stocked and has everything you'll to have a great stay. We all absolutely love the accommodation and amenities! Thanks to the wonderful host for sharing your home and making the process efficient. Overall, the best air BNB we've ever stayed in hands down!!!

Amazing home!

The home was immaculate, the sleeping rooms very nicely furnished and comfortable, the game room was an added plus! You can’t beat the location on the River. Kids were fishing off the dock in their pajamas at sunrise. The pool and hot tub added hours of fun and relaxation.

Relaxing Get-A-Way

We were in town for a major car show ( The Amelia). Convenient location for the show. Beautiful home with plenty of activity on the river to entertain your family. Cruise ships, tankers, Coast Guard, Navy ships, military planes and much more. Maghen is a gracious host. We are thankful that she opens up her amazing home to my friends and family. The house is beautiful and meticulously maintained. We are big travelers and rent at many locations. Meghan stocks the house with everything you need. Give this home serious consideration when you're in the Jacksonville area!

Maghen is a Super Host!!! Attention to details! Beautifully decorated for Christmas! Our first experience with a home in Palm Desert had left a very very bad impression for VRBO. We were going to try it one more time before abandoning VRBO but this home impressed us.

Second time was even better than the first!!!

We love this property and host!! The property is so clean and well maintained…that really means a lot to me when booking somewhere. I am an extremely nit picky cleaner and this home is one of the only VRBO’s I have stayed in where I feel comfortable and do not have to worry about cleaning when I get there. This time the host had a beautiful charcuterie board, delicious cookies and lots of snacks upon our arrival. This was so sweet and was devoured quickly. Though there are many things to do in Jacksonville,the kids just really enjoyed spending their time in the pool at the house. We love that it has the “cage”around it. The dock and views of the river and big boats were also enjoyed by all. This year we even caught 2 crabs!! We also like how the house is close to so many different beaches and things to do. I would highly recommend booking this property and we are looking forward to hopefully visiting next year!!!
