“We stayed June 12-15, 2026. I read favorable reviews and felt it was a good choice. Wrong! When we walked in the lobby smelled heavily of Fabuloso, and remained that way our entire stay. The hallways smelled not something sour/rotten trying to be masked in Fabuloso. Our room smelled of weed-we did tell the front desk and he did offer to switch our room but we declined-and one of the plugs n did not work. “The Lafayette Inn is a beautiful mansion, with lovely gardens, a welcoming entry and living area and fabulous staff. We were very pleased with our 3-night stay. Breakfast options were plenty and Kristen prepared the egg bites and pastries to perfection. The snacks, cookies, coffee, filtered water were amenities not often scene. The king room was comfortable and roomy. We highly recommend the Inn.”

“The check in was quick and the staff friendly. The hotel was clean, the rooms were updated and spacious. Nice outdoor patio. The breakfast as decent. Plenty of parking. Overall great experience.”

“We expected a room with a tub, but the last available room didn’t have one. The room available was very pricey for its size. We decided not to stay. The highlight of our time was interacting with Jenna at the desk, she was extremely kind and very professional. Based on our experience with her we will consider returning on another occasion. We mainly wanted to have one night away, as we live close and our wedding anniversary is this weekend.”
