“I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was disappointing. One of the reasons I booked this property instead of an Airbnb was the expectation of basic hotel amenities and comfort. Unfortunately, the hotel advertised having a bar and restaurant, but neither was actually available during my stay. This felt misleading from the start. The biggest issue, however, was the air conditioning. On the day I checked in, I was told the AC was not working throughout the hotel and...

“The Brownswood is lovely and I keep returning year after year. It feels like staying with family. Pub is a great time. Quick access on bus network or plenty of bikes around make commuting to central easy.”

Le informazioni finali per il check-in da parte di Expedia, attese entro le 24 ore precedenti, non sono però arrivate in tempo, nonostante il sollecito il giorno precedente l'arrivo. Ci siamo presentati all'ingresso esterno a sera tarda per il check-in, la chiamata al numero preposto non è andata a buon fine. Casualmente una signora sulle scale ci ha notati e gentilmente...

“Very clean, recently refurbished rooms and an easy self-check in process. Very comfortable beds, really quiet rooms at the back of the property, a fridge and safe in the room, and an excellent TV with loads of streaming options. The only slight drawbacks were a strange weed-like smell which lingered in the corridor just outside my room during my stay, and my colleague who stayed two floors up was disturbed on both nights by the 'passionate' noise of the guests in the next room..! Very easy...

“È’ stata la seconda volta che ho scelto questo hotel per il mio soggiorno a Londra, comodissime le fermate della metro e del bus a pochi passi, hotel silenzioso, pulito, spaziosa la camera, ho particolarmente apprezzato il ferro da stiro che in pochi minuti mi ha permesso di sistemare tutti gli abiti che avevo portato, ottima la colazione, a mio giudizio un ottimo hotel, lo consiglio”

“Ho soggiornato presso questo hotel con mia figlia, camera pulita, pulizie e cambio biancheria tutti i giorni, aria condizionata indipendente, bagno piccolo doccia comoda, personale cortese e sempre disponibile, unica lamentela avevo una camera fronte strada i vetri sono sottili per cui si sente il rumore delle auto, l'hotel ti fornice i tappi per le orecchie. Comoda la metro a 5 minuti a piedi inoltre ben collegato con gli autobus.”

“The hotel is modest, but beautifully updated and very clean. Our room had a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a very nice bathroom. The bedroom was small, but I’ve seen much smaller in Central London for double the price. Staff were very kind and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout so we could do a bit more sightseeing before our flight.”

“For what I needed and location it was prefect for one night - the need was more about location than anything else. Room was clean and had everything that I needed. Bed small so lucky it was just one person as it wasn’t really big enough for two. Really really bad smell from bathroom - like rotten cabbage, think it was the shower drain.”

“I had a pleasant stay overall. The apartment was immaculately clean and offered plenty of space, which made it comfortable throughout. The photos didn’t match the property exactly, but the place itself was still nice. The staircase leading to the upstairs room was quite slim and a bit awkward to navigate, so something to be aware of. Communication could have been smoother, but in the end I felt the stay offered good value for money.”

“The room and bathroom was super clean. I appreciated there was soap and shower gel dispenser and towels as I forgot to pack my shower gel. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Thanks also for providing microwave, fridge and kettle and makings for tea/coffee. The location was great with lots of food places, shops and entertainment places nearby. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to this part of London.”

“The apartment was very clean and spacious and had a lovely smell when we arrived. Just what we needed for an efficient stay. Lovely bathroom. The only thing that I would say for next time is tea and coffee are included, would have been nice to have a couple of the little Uht milk cartons to have with it. Otherwise would recommend.”
