“I booked Upjohn House but was told I had to come to Henderson Castle to get the keys, and I should stay there instead. It was nice enough, the setting of Henderson Castle is beautiful. I had a lovely French breakfast my first morning, but when I came down the second morning, no one was around, I was told breakfast was from 6:30-9:30, and I was downstairs at 7:00. “Wound not recommended the restaurant within the hotel. We went there for breakfast. Portions are small for price. No jelly with toast and one waitress serving the whole restaurant. This is the only downfall of our experience. Room was adequate. Everything seemed to clean. Staff was helpful.”

“I would love to stay here while I'm working in Kalamazoo, but I just because of the cigarette smell in the room. It was 100% smoke free.... I just got home and I have to wash all of my clothes. Even the clean ones. My family could smell the cigarette smoke through my suitcase when it was sitting in the kitchen. Staff was nice though.”

“Parking was great. Breakfast was very good. Staff allowed a party to keep guests awake after midnight. When asked for a room transfer they were very helpful and immediately provided with a different room away from the noise and rowdy guests. Staff did ask rowdy guests to be quiet several times. However when rowdy guest continued to be rowdy they did nothing other than provide us with a different room.”
