Perfect site for a couples get-away, family vacation or friends just wanting to have a good time at the lake. A wonderful artists retreat, full of good energy. Exceptional communication from this host. Enjoyed a lovely girl’s weekend at this lakefront cottage. Great central location. We were able to visit Southern Tier brewery and also many area wineries. Cottage was nicely equipped and we appreciated all the games that the host had provided! This host is extremely responsive!

We really enjoyed our time at the lake. The yard was very peaceful. The goose was well stocked with everything you would need. My only complaint is that the shorelineis a mess with lots of Lilly pads, weeds, and other debris. I know that is not the fault of the owner but the nature of the lake this year. We would book again.

The owner had great communication with me and our stay was excellent. There was everything in the house you could ask for. It was above my expectation. We are thinking about rebooking for next year. I highly recommend this place.

Overall nice cottage. Beautiful view of the lake.

Cottage and amenities were very nice. Disappointing was the several feet of muck at the lake shore which made it impossible to swim or launch a kayak from shore. The dock is unsteady and rickety; no way we could have launched a kayak from there.

Walleye Fishing

Great Place to stay, right on the lake with a dock for the boat. Boat Ramp was 5 min away. The cottage had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Nice back yard on the lake with fire pit. Plenty of parking space in the front. Quiet dead-end road. Neighbors were very friendly. Will Definitely be back same time next year.

Convenient

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the lake cottage. The location is ideal, with Bemus Point nearby and all that Lake Chautauqua has to offer, plus it’s only about 15 minutes from Jamestown. The cottage was the perfect size for us and our dog. The yard overlooks the lake, offering a nice view, though I’d recommend trimming the tall vegetation along the shore to enhance the view even more. The cottage is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay there. There was plenty of room for us and we enjoyed being on the lake. There also was plenty of room outside. Our grandchildren were over during one of the days and they enjoyed playing frisbee. It is very close to Bemus Point which is one of our favorite spots on the lake.

Not what we expected

Although the cottage had the necessities, the first thing we noticed was the lack of a lake few due to the tall weeds along the entire shoreline. The picture on the listing was terribly misleading! The place wasn't awful, but certainly not clean. The daybed was too hard to sleep on, so took the mattress from the trundle and put it on top. Looking forward to the steaks we brought only to find out the gas grill didn't work. Absolutely no comfortable seating on the deck which was incredibly dirty. Fortunately I noticed this in other pictures & brought my chairs.

Great cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this lakefront cottage. The house had everything we needed and it was nice to dock the boat right in front of the house. The owner was great with communicating and making everhthing went as good as it possibly could. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

Cute cottage, great communication

The cottage was bigger than I expected. We had basically 5 adults (2 parents and 3 kids in their 20's) and had plenty of room. It was nice that we were right on the water and the sunsets were beautiful. Communication with Laurie was excellent, she was very accommodating.
