“What a fantastic property and surrounding area! Heaps of space for many people to spread out, great aspect and deck with spa to watch the sunset too. ”

“Our stay was super relaxing in our little cottage by the river. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided but taking groceries is essential. The cabin was very cosy and the views were stunning. Thanks to Andy for leaving us with lots of chopped wood to keep warm and have a lovely wood fire in the evenings. Not having any mobile access was a blessing so we could switch off and enjoy our surroundings.”

“The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...

“2 families stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend. As displayed in the photos, the house is quite run down on the outside and in some parts in the inside but none of this affected our stay. Everything that mattered was great. Very clean, great working bathroom and kitchen, easy access BBQ, enough driveway parking for 2 x cars, 1 x boat and 1 x jetski, shops walking distance, the lake only a short drive. Thanks for having us!”

“Property fit our large group with ease, great location, everything you need is in the home, large back deck and yard, plentry of parking on the property - we have stayed at this home many times and will continue to return. Owner Mark is great with communication and very prompt with replies. Love this property for our group stays for the annual Merrijig Rodeo.”

“Lovely property. Heaters in each room. Plenty of bedding. Only thing that was a lil let down was it said byo firewood meaning there would be a wood fire or outdoor fire pit. No fire pit or fire on the property.”

“The House is well kept and has everything you need. The view is absolutely stunning. Great for families. The visits from the wildlife were a pleasure and the kids absolutely loved it. Would definitely come back.”

“I found the place based on the map provided on Stayz, the owner never gave the address so it was a little hard to find. The queen bed in the second bedroom is broken and unsafe to sleep on so we had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. No dishwashing soap provided at all yet check out instructions requested for all dishes to be washed. The location to mountain entrance is excellent and it was nice to see the kangaroos in the morning.”

“Had a great time, fantastic location right on the Jamieson river. River was a little low but still able to paddle and cool off. Easy walk to local cafe, general store and pub. House accommodated us all comfortably, plenty of use of the deck area and fire pit. Short drive to the nearest boat ramp. Jess was very efficient in answering any queries we had, check in was easy. Overall a great weekend.”

“Our family weekend away was so nice at Loyola Lakehouse. The property and grounds were looked after very well. The property is well appointed, luxury and space! The process was easy from start to finish and only being a short drive into town made it easy to get supplies and enjoy some of Mansfield town. Would happily go back in a heartbeat!”

“Had a wonderful weekend in a cozy clean spot with good company. All the rooms are heated, plus a fireplace in the living area. The small kitchen forced me to get closer to my wife :-)”
