Quiet cabin with beautiful view
Christmas in the Ozark mountains. The entire family had a great time. They provided everything. Just bring your good. Property manager was very responsive. Plenty of room. They even decorated the place for Christmas. Thanks for a memorable holiday.

Thanksgiving 2023
Beautiful home and property to celebrate thanksgiving! The cabin itself exceeded expectations in every way! Just wish we could have explored the immediate surroundings but totally respected property boundaries and history. Well stocked kitchen with accurate description. Very accurate directions and leather bound book at house filled with info! Very close to Ponca and river AND more hiking than we could fill in a week! ALWAYS a plus to come back to a hot tub and fire-pit!! Plenty of wood for sale in both directions from driveway. Thank you for helping make our week a success!!

Perfect location Spacious Cabin
Bella Casa was perfect for our family of 9. Plenty of space for gathering as a family. We enjoyed the fire pit outdoors and the convenient location. Many amenities for an enjoyable stay! The owner was very responsive if we had questions or any needs.

Great stay!
We had a great stay! The property is nice and the inside is very clean and well furnished. The yard could use a little attention, as the bushes were very overgrown and blocked the front of the house. Everything else was perfect! Beware, the road to the cabin is rough and a normal car will have trouble. I suggest a 4 wheel drive even though we made it fine in our Toyota Highlander. Listen yo the owner and arrive in the daytime.

Wilderness paradise
We wanted a place close some hiking trails and this was perfect! Clear directions to find the cabin and clean. Did run out of toilet paper would be nice to have a spare roll in each bathroom instead of just 2 rolls total for 8 people. Loved the smores kit, week the kids did, haha. Lots of space, we had a great time.

Fantastic Relaxing Oasis
In the middle of nowhere, trickling stream, wrap around covered porch and uncovered deck area perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the stars. Could not be happier with this cabin and hot tub! Thanks!!!

Spring Break
We had a wonderful stay here! The kids enjoyed the hot tub, fishing, the cows/horses, making s’mores, and the bunk bed room. We were able to hike a couple of fun trails in the area. We didn’t want to leave!

Great cabin retreat
Booked this trip for a guy’s weekend for myself and five friends. The cabin was exactly as pictured, extremely clean, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and fully functional! It was also very close to the Steel Creek and Ponca put in points for the Buffalo River. We had an excellent experience and have nothing but good things to say about our stay.

Private Quiet Retreat
Beautiful property! I noticed the master bedding was amazing quality. The bed was so comfortable. The hot tub was perfect! I would highly recommend this place for a getaway for a couple or a family. I extensively travel and have for many years. This is the first place that I’ve stayed at that I felt like the kitchen up to par. It was very nice to have a selection of cookware baking wear, and enough place settings for everyone to sit enjoy a meal together. Not to mention all the places around the property where you can sit at a table or get in a hammock, rocking chairs everywhere! The view with the wrap around porch! Heaven!.

Nice stay!
Loved this cabin and proximity to Boxley Valley! We loved the big yard for the kids to play and the space for our big family. Best part, you’re at the end of a dirt road and have all the privacy that you want.

Wonderful Vacation
We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Cabin was clean, well maintained and comfortable. We felt that for the length we stayed, the number of people we had and the price we paid they were skimping on the amount of toilet paper and paper towels they left for us. Be sure to bring extras. Bring bug spray… the mosquitoes are bad. Hiking was awesome but the water ways were all dry. Colors were starting to change…It will be beautiful in October. Enjoy!

Has Everything
This is a perfect place to stay for visiting the Buffalo National River. Great place for a family because the kids have their own downstairs and the parents can take the upstairs. The house is far better stockers than most rentals—tons of kitchen utensils and appliances, lots of towels, dishwasher, etc. Plan on a fun drive down the road to the house—best done in a truck or jeep. Five stars—we will be staying there again.

Plumbing problems
This is the second time we booked and stayed at this location but not sure if we will again. The downstairs bathroom toilet doesn’t work! The rain gutters leak like a sieve. Just about every joint leaks and the gutters are sagging so bad that the rain water goes everywhere. The gas grill has seen much better days, it needs to be replaced.

Wonderful, remote location
Owner suggested we get there during the day to find it easily - she wasn’t wrong! Very hard to find at night, easy as pie during the day. It is remote, which is what we were looking for, and near some very wonderful hiking.

Could use reading lamps in bedroom foe both sides of bed. Lamps in living room would be helpful . Kitchen counters were pretty dark—insufficient lighting. Pretty comfortable overall.

Family Getaway
We had a wonderful weekend with family at the cabin. Everyone had plenty of room, beds were comfy, the cabin was clean and well stocked. The water was too low on the Buffalo River to tube or float, but we enjoyed some of the nearby trails, instead. It was our first time exploring the area and we are looking forward to coming back, and hopefully renting this wonderful property again!

Family Getaway
The road leading to the property was very bumpy and rough as mentioned in listing. It is quite a ways off the Highway and i wondered if we were ever going to arrive. Thank goodness for the signs because if not for them i would not have continued on the road. Was somewhat disappointed upon arriving because the picture you have in the listing doesn’t really look like the actual property. All the shrubbery was way over grown and in need of being removed or cutting them way back so you could enjoy the wraparound porch. The house was great for our needs and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Weekend get away with friends
Nice place, just needs a little maintenance to a few locations and some work done on the landscaping. Door hand was very loose so we tightened it the tile in the downstairs bathroom is loose, and generally it could have been a little cleaner overall. Oh yeah the front steps are wooden and when it rains they are very slick. One of the guests took a bad fall not cool, just glad it was the youngest of the bunch.

Hi Thomas, we are so glad you enjoyed yourselves and we would have been happy to address any issues while you were there if you would have let us know during your stay.😊 The cabin and surrounding deck/stairs are all wood and we do recommend caution when going up or down the stairs when it is raining and using the hand rails that are provided on both sides. Weekend guys trip
This is a great rental, very clean and nice inside with plenty of amenities. Dishes, seasonings, coffee and much more provided. Looking for a weekend getaway at The Buffalo this house is the perfect fit for a decent sized group. Just minutes away from The Low Gap Cafe which is a MUST go to while in Jasper.

Family friendly Cabin in the Woods
Recently spent the week end with our family at Bella Casa. Lots of room for our family of nine. Due to a very rainy week end we spent a lot of time indoors. Ping pong, games and football seem to be the theme. Our two little grands loved being with their aunts and uncles. The hot tub was amazing and the supply of beach towels very helpful. We did go to Triple Falls in the rain and it was beautiful. This cabin has a great location near a lot of things you come to this area for...hiking, the beautiful river and Low Gap Cafe. Our two year old was thrilled with the nearby cattle and horses. If you want to feel like you are in the woods you will like Bella Casa. The owners also took the time to mark with signs the way in to the house. The house was well stocked and very clean. You won't be disappointed with a stay at Bella Casa!

Very nice accommodations. For first time visitors, signage to the property needs to be more visible. Door to root cellar should be more secure for sake of small children. Will definitely consider booking again in the future.

Very nice property
Excellent cabin in the mountains and set up with a spacious 360 covered porch and plenty of swings, tables, chairs and even a couple of hammocks. The inside is also very nice and stocked better than expected (bring extra dish washer pouches). The only complaint from my crew was a poor job of vaccuming downstairs. Everyone loved the property.

Buffalo retreat with fantasic porch
My family stayed here for our annual get together. We enjoyed the proximity to Cosmic caverns, Lost Valley, the Buffalo River, Jasper, etc. The house was well decorated and comfortable. We love to cook and the kitchen did not disappoint. It was fully loaded with top of the line appliances and every gadget you could need not to mention the fantastic grill. Our favorite part of this house was easily the large wrap around covered deck with hammocks, hot tub, rocking chairs, and plenty of tables. My niece practically lived in the sunroom which was great for reading or watching the cows in the neighboring pastures. I would absolutely reccomend this property to anyone looking for a rental in the area. We drove a Jeep as well as a Honda accord down the dirt road and didnt have issues with either vehicle making it down the road.

Love Love Love this cabin!!
Everything about this cabin was perfect except the amount of time we had to spend there. (2 nights) I wish we had more time to stay longer. Next visit will be at least a week. I will say that what looks like a river that runs in front of the cabin is a creek and it's private property so it's not riverfront property which is what we thought but it's perfect regardless. Well worth the money we spent. Clean, spacious, owners left nothing unattended. Go make some memories!!

Great place
Stayed here as a guys weekend. We had a group of 7. The house was clean and very comfortable and everything was in working order. Plenty of room to spread out and chill. The immediate area around the house was even more scenic than the photos in my opinion. We came during a rain so the creek out front was flowing which gave a nice background sound. A flock of wild turkeys came out of the woods twice a day and deer were seen frequently. Very close to many fantastic trail heads and of course the Buffalo River. I would highly recommend and will very likely return.

Relaxing week
We had the best time here. Super clean cabin. We went to the BOC to get info on local activities and they pointed us to the Steel Creek area. They had such a nice swimming hole. Check it out when you visit! Saw lots of wildlife. When at the cabin we enjoyed family time, playing ping pong downstairs, hot tub time, and making s’mores over the fire pit.

Beautiful remote location!
This place was perfect for our young families. Just a quick drive to Steel Creek area. Beautiful porch to drink coffee and relax. I enjoyed the sounds, fresh air, and scenery. Be sure to come stocked with food as it there are not a lot of stores around the cabin. This is a pro as long as you come prepared.

Comfortable and Relaxing
My family had a great time staying here. We had a minor issue and Kelly had it solved by the time we came home from the days activities. Loved the secluded location.My grandchildren enjoyed being visited by the neighboring cows, horses and dogs. The house is nicely appointed and very comfortable. It was hot and humid outside, but the AC worked great and kept us cool. Kelly provides a lot of good information on things to do and local recommendations and will answer specific questions. The Low Gap Cafe is just down the road and it was a great dining experience. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. We met the chef and he was as interesting as the food was good. If you really want to get away this is a good place to do it.

great but a little misleading
The location is fantastic and the house is in perfect order and very comfortable. We were just pretty disappointed because we were under the impression from the photos that there was a running river on the property or at least accessible to the cabin... but it's not at all.... in fact, there are signs signifying that we were restricted from leaving the premises "for our own safety." We were really hoping to let the kids play around the yard, but we had to keep them busy elsewhere and really didn't spend much time at the house as a result of these restrictions.... otherwise the cabin would've received full stars from me.

We are transparent from the get-go with the location and its proximity to specific spots and surrounding attractions and that our property does sit on 6 acres and is surrounded by private property. I am sorry that you felt like the description was misleading. Beautiful Views, Peace and Quite.
Loved the cabin. It held our party of 9 very comfortably. Ping pong was a blast. The wrap around porch with the swing and other seating was great for hanging out outside. The sound of the creek was very serene.

Beautiful, secluded location on Steel Creek. Nicely furnished cabin with plenty of room for a big group. Really enjoyed the fire pit, patio, and wrap around deck. Had a minor issue with the keypad that was quickly resolved. Would definitely stay here again.
