“The place was beautiful but my room had the worst view. All I was able to see was black top roof and pvc pipes. Getting to and from the room was challenging. Construction on 1St floor and elevator needs TLC. They needed to close the wing completely. I will not come back. Even if they pay me!!!”

“We were here for a hockey camp which happened to end on July 4th. It was a great location for access to the lake, the heated pool closer to the original building was a nice plus. We really enjoyed watching the fireworks from the pool/dock area by the lake. Lake Placid was a fun town to spend July 4th, too. ”

“The hotel was being taken over by new owners, The TV's did not work, no cable of any kind! Pool was not open at all as well it was in a state of disrepair! Also they had issues with wi-fi and internet access! the whole time we were there coffee machine did not work well as well! Although we had a million dollar view of lake Saranac and the mountains, lots of parking and close to other amenities! Bed's were comfortable, I'm sure at some point they will work out those issues and I was told...

“Such a great time at the Hampton Inn Lake Placid. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean. The pool and hot tub were great! The views were wonderful. Positive experience all around!”
