Adorable beach cottage 2/1, Sleeps 6, Pet Friendly, Minutes to Beach

You will love Flamingo Cottage! This super cute and cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath is located in the quaint area of Rio in Jensen Beach. Flamingo themed home has new furnishings in a funky beach style. Beautiful vaulted wood ceilings are a wonderful original feature. New gazebo is a great place to spend the evening or early morning coffee break. Perfectly situated just minutes from downtown Jensen Beach, historic downtown Stuart, restaurants, shopping, waterfront, boat launch and the BEACH!!

The home features a large entry with dining table, sitting room has sleeper sofa, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, fenced back yard, A/C, high speed Wifi, and cable television. For your enjoyment, we have provided 2 beach chairs.

Property features 1 queen bed in the master bedroom, queen in guest bedroom, and a queen size sofa sleeper in the sitting room, sleeping up to 6 people.

A video surveillance camera is located on the exterior of the home covering the driveway and entrance to the home to ensure security when the property is vacant.

Host responded timely. Some trouble checking in-partly my fault. Grill has a completely rusted out grate and was difficult to use. Not an ideal place for the elderly with several tripping hazards. Older "Florida winter home" but has been significantly updated. Bed is comfortable. Lawns a mess. Considering the price, location and ability for short rental- It's a good deal.

Flamingo cottage wasn’t adorable retreat close to where we dock our boat. It was the perfect amount of space for our family. I would definitely recommend if you are here to visit the Stewart Jenson Beach area.Our grandson loved all the flamingo decor

The stay was very nice. The cottage was the perfect size for 2 people and 2 small dogs. The location was quiet and close to multiple restaurants and activities. Our host, Chris, was very responsive to any question we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

A wonderful experience

What an awesome place. It is quiet and welcoming, you have everything you need. Extremely clean and welcoming. Communication with the property manager was great, fast response and very helpful. I truly loved this place, and would definitely stay there again.

A Quaint Getaway

The Flamingo Cottage was very clean and well equipped with the necessities for our stay. We spent a great deal of time outside on the covered deck which provided a well-needed break from the sun! The price and location were just what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend the Flamingo Cottage and if we return to Florida next year this will be out go-to place.

Perfect Cottage

This house was perfect for our family of 3. It's about a 10 min drive to Hutchinson Island and about 3 mins to Publix and many restaurants. The house was clean and the kitchen well stocked and the beds are super soft. I highly recommend this property.

No. We arrived 3:50pm & messaged the owner didn’t get a response till 4:30. This was after reaching out to VRBO & someone from there was working with me for almost 1/2 an hour before I got a call from the manager of the property. Than they gave me the wrong password & finally I got the right one. We got it at 4:50.Also inside no written instructions for wifi. Again had to call manager to get it. After a first incorrect one got the right one. Same for the TV. Chris finally showed up to help with that.

Cute cottage, good location!

Cute small cottage. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, very cute decorations, tropical landscape. Needs: updated pictures, tv instructions, accurate description of the property. What they consider a Fenced in backyard is a 4ft area around the perimeter of the house and maybe a 14x14 square, very loud noisy a/c but kept you cold. The views in the pictures are all from the front.

Precious cottage and pet friendly!

Old Florida style cottage - perfectly described. Have already booked my next trip! I recently relocated from the area and come frequently to visit friends — this is perfectly located. Shower pressure is amazing - beds are comfortable!! Kitchen is well-appointed. Washer and Dryer are a convenience! Recommend for families or friends gathering… sweet and affordable - close to everything! Thank you for a great stay.

Great Rental and location!

15 minutes to beaches or 15 minutes to the town on Stuart! We loved this little 2bd/1bath rental for our December week, who knew it was going to be the coldest days of the year! But we enjoyed some beach time and especially the towns of Stuart and Jensen Beach. Great shops, restaurants, and a few rounds of golf at the Florida Club (excellent course). Everything was close and the rental had everything we needed. Owners were very communicative and we hope to return soon.

Flamingo cottage is perfect for two adults. 4 would be tight, 6 would be unrealistic.

Sleeping was ok. Close to beaches very good. Easy check in/out. Serious grill person would be very disappointed in old rusty grill with broken brickett tray. TV was easy to use. More hooks inside the house needed for hanging stuff up. Need a mirror in the bedroom.

Cozy cottage

Property is clean and cute. There is ample room for two. There are plenty of kitchenwares - dishes, pans, etc. It is bright and cheery. The only disappointment was that it was advertised as a fenced in yard but though it’s fenced in, it’s a tiny area of a mess of branches, roots overgrowth and run down. We did not let our dog in that area.

Loved this place with one negative. The premises smelled of cigarette smoke a big turnoff. Bad on me for making sure it was a non-smoking property, My clothes smelled of cigarette smoke and when friends dropped by they noted it as well.

Excellent Management-Terry is AWESOME!

We’ll this was the house I booked, but the day of arrival they had a plumbing issue. Terry called us asap, got a hotel room for the night and put us in a different house. The other house was great except for ac issue, but once again, Terry came through and took care of the problem. We donated a decent size cooler to the rental, they had chairs, umbrella and beach towels. So the cooler was our gift to the house. Also some beach cups, no alcohol on beach, cup worked great! Everything else was great! Would recommend to anyone!

Small bungalow

Okay for 2 people but no more. No functional back yard as advertised and what was there was overgrown and full of downed leaves and we found several snake skins. Also no cleaning supplies were provided initially and there was mold in all the furnace vents (one fell off the wall which brought it to our attention). The furnace filter looked like it hadn’t been changed in years. I think with a deep clean and some TLC especially outside the place could be much improved.

Nice beach cottage

It was easy renting and I had to change the leave date several times. The cottage is just as it looks with pink flamingos decor in every room. It is cute. It’s well stocked with Kerig and a variety of coffees and welcome snacks. Plenty of plates, cups, pans , etc. Water pressure was great and plenty of hot water. The wine opener was broken (whine) but we managed. The beds were comfortable. It is very close to downtown Stuart which is great and Hutchinson Island . All kinds of shopping along US 1. It was just the two of us and our dog. If there were two more adults it would be tight. The yard was a bit disappointing as I couldn’t let the dog run in the backyard as it was not well maintained (leaves, palm fronds littered the yard and a big cooler full of water)and the gates were hard to open. In the front there were several uneven places on the front walk way that we tripped on a couple of times. I think this is a new VRBO and with a little more attention to curb appeal and interior details it will be wonderful.
