“We had booked here for a one night stay in July 2025 but when we arrived we loved it and decided if we could we would love to stay for another night. Chris was very accommodating and got us an another night here. This was nothing but fantastic! Excellent location, staff were phenomenal and the property was nothing but beautiful indeed and well kept. Accoglienza ottima da parte del proprietario, che ci ha dato consigli utili per andare in centro a Bar Harbor con mezzi pubblici, gratuiti, che passano molto vicino al motel (sia andata che ritorno). Comodo il parcheggio davanti al proprio alloggio. Camera spaziosa e pulita, dotata di vari utili accessori (per esempio, macchina per fare il caffè). Sia in camera, che fuori, sotto il portico, ci sono un tavolo con due sedie, dove è comodo consumare la colazione....
“We loved our stay at the Clefstone! The staff was so kind, helpful, and available for anything you might need. We loved the fresh afternoon snacks after coming back from hiking each day and fresh coffee in the morning. We stayed in room #1 and it was the perfect size with a very comfy bed. “This property was along the Island Explorer route and that made it very accessible to the DT Bar Harbor area. The staff was very friendly especially the front desk staff, Liz was extremely chatty with the kids making them laugh. The food at the bistro was actually the best we had in Bar Harbor even over Galyn’s and Paddy’s. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice also. The cleaning crew made a swan out of our blanket we purchased from Acadia and that made my kids so happy! ”
“Perfect location for walking to Main St. and enjoying all of the shops and restaurants. Also, minutes to drive to Acadia and access the beautiful National Park. Apartment with full kitchen (Raven's Nest) was great for preparing a couple of meals. The king size bed was so comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The built-in window seat for two was lovely for relaxing and reading. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. ”
“The front desk staff were always very welcoming and kind. We were pleasantly surprised with a glass of champagne when we arrived. The room was beautiful! Loved having our little patio. My only minimal complaint would be the shower pressure, but at the end of the day, we would have traded that for more time to be able to stay there. We will definitely recommend this place for all our friends and family visiting the area and if we ever return!”
