Whimsical Home on Quiet High Street, in Historic Downtown.

One of a kind, quiet and whimsical home in the Historic District of Jim Thorpe. Our High Street House is located in one of the best locations in town, just steps away from Broadway! This home features off street parking, fast WiFi, cable, video surveillance, central heating and cooling, beautiful blue stone patio with gas lighting, modern décor, and a new washer & dryer for 3+ night stays. There is also indoor storage for your outdoor adventure gear! You will not be disappointed

Our Blueberry guest house on High street is located in the quiet section of Historic Jim Thorpe. It is off of the beaten path, and away from the crowded sidewalks on Broadway... This street is truly one of the best kept secrets in town!
Our home is over 200 years old and was originally built and owned by the Leigh Coal and Navigation company as a housing unit for the anthracite coal miners. There were actually as many as 13 people living in this home at one time!
Seeing the potential that this house and location had to offer (after-all, this is where we fell in love with Jim Thorpe), we enthusiastically set out to make one of the most unique and whimsical homes in town.
No detail has been overlooked... We want your stay here to be perfect, in every way!!

Property was nice. Only downfall is bathroom on the first floor and bedrooms upstairs. Property is not handicap accessible.We lived our stay and would stay there again in the future! Host was awesome and very accommodating in every area!

First off, the outside of the property was decorated for Halloween, it was so amazingly nice. People walking by stopped to take pictures of the house. When we entered the home, it was not disappearing, it was so very clean, warm & inviting. My friend and I felt at home instantly, the home was decorated beautifully & everything you needed was already placed in tThe bedrooms were just as inviting, warm and so comfortable. We loved the second floor deck, this is where we had a morning coffee and breakfast, not to mention our evening cocktails before ending our day.We would definitely rent this home again.

Wonderful house!

We loved our stay at the Blueberry House! The house has so many unique features and it was spotless when we arrived. It is within walking distance of the downtown attractions, which was a huge plus! I would highly recommend.

Great 40th Anniversary Weekend!

We had a wonderful time in Jim Thorpe! Blueberry House was a fantastic location—an easy walk to all attractions, shops and restaurants. The house was set up perfectly. Every space was bright and airy. Jason answered every question we had quickly and carefully. We hope to return to Blueberry House someday!

Jim Thorpe Bike trip

Wonderful stay in Jim Thorpe. Spent the week seeing the sites and biking the Lehigh Gorge trail. Jason’s house was amazing. Clean and well maintained. Had everything that we needed, including storage area for our bikes and parking. Very close to the Main Street in Jim Thorpe where all the shops and restaurants are located. We were able to walk to everything, including our bike adventures. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks

Quick getaway in Jim Thorpe

The house was comfortable, had a ton of charm and the location was great! Very walkable to restaurants, bars and local attractions. Host communication was fantastic. We were only in town for 2 days but wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to town!

the best mountain getaway house

We loved our time in the Blueberry House!! It is a beautiful home with so much character. We felt very comfortable too! It is close to town but the easiest walk is a bit longer! The faster walk involves a steep hill. Jason was responsive when we needed to reach out. We can’t wait to come back!

Artistic, craftsmanship remodel. Ideal location.

Beautiful renovation with attention to every detail. Loved all the wood, stone and stained glass window features. Perfect quiet location within 0.2 mile walking distance to historic Jim Thorpe Broadway street. Just park the car at the property and walk. It was perfect for 2 adult couples.

Such a cool house, loved the view of the town. Quiet street. Walking the hill is killer but glad we didn't have to worry parking!One of cleanest houses we ever stayed in, we so hope to come back!

Loved it

Such a cozy property. Everything is brand new. Location is great. Parking is everything in Jim Thorpe and this place has its own spot. This will be our go to residence every time we come to town!

Great house in a great location

We stayed here a few years ago with friends, and the 4 of us returned this year together. We love the location and walking distance to town. The only hang up is parking. There was confusion as to whether we needed a permit to park an extra vehicle in a near by lot because the sign said it was needed, but house owner said it was not. We were able to use the spot in the near by lot without penalty. But that was the only hang up. Otherwise, we had everything that we needed for a great weekend.
