Dear Devorah, Thank you for taking the time to communicate post a review. The problem which the entire residential estate on which Forum Homini is located is experiencing is one which we are tackling aggressively on numerous fronts – environmentally, via the local council and legally – in collaboration with the Letamo Residents Association. While these discussions with the neighbours responsible for the problem are underway we are also doing everything possible to reduce the presence of flies in our immediate restaurant and hotel environment, in consultation with pest exterminators and environmental consultants. While our negotiations to have the root of the problem dealt with is ongoing, we remain fully committed to providing the very best possible experience under these difficult conditions. We are spending thousands of rands on aluminium glass doors on the deck and fly screens on the entire property in order to provide our guests a tranquil experience. In that saying, I am pleased to confirm that the complete project will be done before end of September 2019.

Not only are your expectations that were not met, bitterly disappointing to us, but we, regrettably, feel the sting of not meeting our own very high expectations.
