Albergo molto ben situato,a 350 metri dalla Mall Sandton City in Mandela Square. Albergo di un lusso vittoriano ed antico,ma ben tenuto. Forse le stanze sono un po' lontane dalla reception. Colazione molto varia ed abbondante. Possibilita' di mangiare a cen presso l'adiacente The Bull Run,ottima steak house convenzionata,presso cui si puo' addebitare il conto sulla camera. Ottimo servizio per un soggiorno di qualita'.

We stayed here on a long layover and between the comfortable beds and breakfast, it gave us everything we needed. The true highlight was the friendly staff, I’ve never had a more welcoming experience at a hotel.

Safe and comfortable stay in Joburg
I liked the bed a lot, very comfy. But I thought there would be shower gown, not to mention more of amenities like shampoo and conditioner. They only offer a small soap bar, body cleanser, lotion and a shower cap.
Overall staffs were really kind, breakfast was also good (nothing special). Beautiful garden.

Airport pick up arranged in advance and we were picked up almost an hour later after i had to make a phone call. We were greeted by trainee at the hotel and she was absolutely fantastic ( I wish i remembered you name you beautiful young lady). Check out however was another issue. We had to leave early in the morning (driver showed up earlier then we were told at the time of our booking). First, they wanted to charge us for a drink we never had. It’s ok, people do make mistake but that person at the reception attitude was just wrong. After that issue was resolved, she said we need to pay taxes which we paid at the time of the booking. After that, we politely asked to get 2 croissants to go because we are going to miss our paid breakfast as tour guide messed up our pick up time. She said to wait another 5 min until restaurant is open. It was just one thing after another where it felt like she was vindictive and determined to get us somehow. She really ruined our day. I usually don’t bother with feedback but I had to express my disappointment in that person. I wish i remembered your name but I am sure your lovely manager will remember you and us as well. Otherwise hotel is amazing, location is superb.

Breakfast was good. Location for Mandela square was good. Airport shuttle option was not very good. Was not communicated to call hotel in advance for pickup. Cost was very high and per person. Rental would have been much cheaper

I had a good room, thanks to the help of Emma, she seen my needs, with a disability, l cannot praise her enough. She also lnroduced me to the resturant after a long flight. And organised my transport to the Airport the next day . Thank you
