You can see the manager is trying hard to make the hotel a modern, good quality place to stay for business and leisure but the rooms are tired, bathrooms old and staff need some more training.
Wifi is advertised as freely available, which was a key selling point for me, however the reality is that you receive limited access, after which you need to pay. This was important for me to be able to work in the evening and meant paying quite a lot extra.
Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Everyone else was a bit lost.
Most mornings I was woken up at 6am by shouting and other noise - I think from other guests rather than staff.
