“Close to village and transport. Excellent hot shower. Very comfortable bed. Courteous, helpful and discreet manager, owners and neighbours. This is a solid old colonial working class house in the process of being tastefully renovated. Work is still to be done to make it warmer though the heat pump and electric heaters are provided and work well. So bring warm clothes for the changeable Wellington weather! And a warm dressing gown and slippers or thick tracksuit for inside the house. The sunrise...

“Super clean, lots of toys to keep the kids entertained. Beautiful views and the beds were comfy. Lovely extra touch of slippers to use. Great location to be outside of wellington cbd but close enough for easy access to activities.”

“Very poor standard of accommodation for the exorbitant nightly rate charged. (For comparison, the 5-Star Ridges hotel at Wellington airport was less expensive). Room was very small and very old, and there was no table or chair provided to work and have breakfast (Later, I managed to bring in a dirty and wet table from outside). The quality of the cooked breakfast was also very poor. I would not recommend staying at this establishment. The only redeeming feature is the modern bathroom.”
