La Sunset Road House è una cabina del 1952, recentemente rinnovata, con due letti e due bagni, a soli 15 minuti dall'entrata ovest di Joshua Tree National Park in Joshua Tree, CA.

Abbiamo progettato questa casa in modo che i nostri ospiti possano staccare la spina e rilassarsi godendosi tutti i comfort moderni. Goditi le spettacolari albe e tramonti dal ponte espansivo e rilassati nella vasca idromassaggio di notte circondata da viste aperte sul deserto, fauna selvatica e un cielo stellato e stellato.

Recentemente abbiamo fatto un rinnovamento totale (fino alle borchie!) su questo gioiello della metà del secolo in modo che abbia tutti i comfort moderni per il tuo divertimento. Si trova su 5 acri meravigliosi che puoi esplorare durante la tua visita. Devi accedere a un paio di strade non asfaltate per accedere alla casa, ma finora nessun visitatore ha avuto un problema, Prius incluso! I residenti locali includono conigli, roadrunner, tartarughe, coyote e ogni sorta di creature del deserto. La nostra cosa preferita della proprietà è che ti senti davvero nel mezzo del nulla. L'ampio spazio abitativo aperto ha una cucina moderna, sala da pranzo e zona soggiorno. Ci sono due camere da letto e due bagni completi. Il master ha un letto matrimoniale (con bagno privato) e la seconda camera ha due letti singoli che possono essere convertiti in un re, su richiesta. La seconda camera ha anche un bagno completo. La casa funziona bene per un gruppo di amici, due coppie o piccole famiglie. Se hai bisogno di un alloggio per più ospiti, abbiamo anche un rimorchio da viaggio vintage recentemente rinnovato disponibile per l'affitto nelle vicinanze. Sunset Road House si trova a circa 12 minuti di auto dal centro di Joshua Tree (negozi di divertimento, ristoranti e bar) ea 15 minuti di auto dal centro visitatori del Parco nazionale di Joshua Tree all'ingresso ovest del parco. Oltre alle escursioni, siamo vicini al famoso Integratron (un'esperienza salutare di bagni sonori) o godiamo un tour della Gubler Orchid Farm. Se stai cercando un po 'di azione, vai a Pioneertown (25 minuti in auto) e visita il set del film Old West prima di cena e bevi al famoso locale di musica, Pappy & Harriet's. Potresti anche essere fortunato e vedere i Rolling Stones fare un set!

Al Sunset Road House c'è una favolosa piscina (stagionale) e sia un campo da bocce che una a ferro di cavallo ... o non fare assolutamente nulla e sdraiarsi sulle chaise longue, guardando il vasto deserto di giorno e / o immergersi nella vasca idromassaggio di notte sotto una coltre di stelle. Goditi l'aria del deserto nella doccia privata all'aperto ogni volta che colpisce la tua fantasia!

Living in CA in this economy we share our home with our 4 adult children and grandbaby and let me say this was a much needed get away. It was secluded, quiet and beautiful. Exactly what this overworked and overstimulated gen x couple needed. We drove through Joshua Tree national park during the day and enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi at night. 10/10 and can’t wait to go back.

We spent an amazing 4 days and 3 nights at the house near Joshua Tree. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Owners responded quickly with any questions we had. Beautiful area to watch the stars at night and about 30 minutes or so to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. All the amenities were there as advertised.

Was looking for a place that was super remote but with all of the comforts of home. This place hit just right. Check in process was easy, everything we could need was available (robes were super cozy and perfect to put on after a soak in the spa). Visited the area for a long weekend escape for my husbands birthday and enjoyed every second. Woke up to an amazing sunrise on both mornings. Wish I could have stayed more than 2 days, but I will be back. Thank you!!

As i was driving into this beautiful home I felt like i had made a mistake, but wow was i so wrong! My friends & i were welcomed by this beautiful, peaceful, welcoming home. I dont think the pictures do this place justice! It truly feels like you are able to disconnect from the city and have all the conforts of the city life.

Nestled in a secluded corner of the Joshua Tree desert, this enchanting home embraced us with warmth and tranquility from the moment we arrived. The property boasts a stunning cactus garden that perfectly complements the serene desert landscape. During the day, we cooled off in the refreshing pool, and as the sun set, the hot tub provided a cozy retreat under the starry sky. The interior of the house is bright, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with unique, stylish touches. Every detail has been considered, and the home is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. Despite the remote location, a large grocery store is conveniently just 20 minutes away. Our stay here was nothing short of magical—both rejuvenating for the body and soothing for the soul. The stargazing experience was truly extraordinary, and we were able to capture breathtaking photos of the Milky Way. We can’t recommend this oasis enough and can’t wait to return.

This vacation rental in Joshua Tree was fantastic! It offered plenty of activities and was perfectly located near the park. The check-in process was seamless, and the sunset views were breathtaking. The hot tub and pool were perfect for the weather during our stay. Highly recommend!

It was wonderful to escape the rush of daily life in this peaceful, quiet, and lovely VRBO. All you could see were the mountains in the distance and all you could hear were the sound of birds. Our batteries were recharged. Kathryn and Jon were lovely hosts and answered all our questions quickly. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Joshua Tree next.

We really enjoyed the serenity of our stay as we lounged in chairs watching the sunset and soaked in the hot tub under the stars. The house was clean and comfortable and was a wonderful place to unwind after long days of hiking in JTNP and sight seeing the unique art exhibits within minutes of this lovely home. We were able to take a short day trip out to Ladder Canyon, the Salton Sea Rec Area, Bombay Beach, and Salvation Mountain. We'd love to return here again in the future and continue exploring all that this beautiful desert area has to offer!

My husband and I wanted to find a nice quiet place to unwind for a night, kid free. I messaged the owner with a question and she promptly replied. By the end of the day, I knew I wanted to book here! The place was in the middle of no where which we loved, so much privacy! Easy to find and check in was so quick and easy. The place was clean, cooled and ready for us. We especially loved the Hot tub at sunset. We also were left a complimentary s’mores kit which was so thoughtful. Everything was as described and we really enjoyed our night there. We would definitely book again!

The Sunset Road House was the perfect place for our anniversary get away. It was exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed, all the basics for cooking (not to mention a French press!) and the AC worked fabulously in the 110+ degree heat we had while there. We also loved the little record player and vinyl collection. Best of all, it was amazingly quiet and we had a number of visitors - a jackrabbit greeted us, a roadrunner stopped for shade on the back patio, and a pack of coyotes strolled through on our last evening. It was a short drive to Joshua Tree and the National Park so it made for a great place to get away from everything but still be convenient. Kathryn was absolutely fantastic to work with, immediately responding to messages, and has the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. And if you happen to run into Rick, he's more than happy to provide info on local places to check out. Thank you so much for this gem in the desert and the wonderful hospitality!

This house is outstanding... clean, comfortable, well-appointed and QUIET. It is in the desert with very little around (which is what we wanted), yet only about a 15 minute drive into Joshua Tree town. Kathryn the owner was GREAT to work with. She is extremely accommodating and responsive. Every inquiry was attended to immediately. I wish she owned every VRBO we stay in. If you are looking for a pleasant, relaxing getaway, this is it!

This house was amazing… it had a gorgeous yet subtle Bohemian vibe, was well-stocked with all of the necessities (and lots of extras) and was sparkling clean. Everything about it captured the essence of the landscape and gave my family and me that Joshua Tree experience I was looking for. The fireplace, hot tub, swimming pool (loved the cold plunge!), the hammocks, outside dining space and fire pit made it a true desert oasis. The hosts responded quickly and graciously to all of my questions, and the whole booking experience was easy and seamless. I’ve already recommended it to my friends who are planning a trip there, and I plan to go back again as well. It truly is a gem!
