“We enjoyed every moment there, even the rainy ones. View is extraordinary, wild life just in front and around the house, good cooking supplies, quite soft mattress but great in size, need to have your own internet.”

“Very clean and nicely decorated in a pleasant country setting in the trees. The only downside was that I expected a stove and fridge, but there is only a hotplate, toaster oven and microwave. The bar fridge doesn't have a freezer. Still workable for doing some cooking. Hugh”

“Fabulous property in Sooke. We stayed for six nights and enjoyed watching the seals and kingfishers while sitting out on the dock drinking local cider. The beaches were great to explore and everyone we met was friendly and chill. Would definitely love to come back.”

“Cute and quaint, cozy little retreat in the woods. Lots of bird songs to hear, but note that sounds of nearby road are also noticeable. Enjoyed a few good movies as there is an interesting selection of dvds. It is perfectly relaxing; don't forget your bubblebath!”

“We really enjoyed this peaceful and cozy home. The backyard was beautiful, we loved watching the birds and using the soaker tub and sauna. The inside was cozy and comfortable. Everyone had their own space, and we had a lot of fun playing darts and scrabble. The town of Sooke is very cute and the people were friendly. We travel quite a bit, and this has been one of my favorite places. I highly recommend staying here.”

“The property was beautiful, just what we were looking for. The views of the water were incredible and the house itself was clean and decorated beautifully. The hot tub was private and perfect for two. Very close to amenities but it's so quiet you'd never know. Check-in was easy and independent and customer service by text was friendly and relatively quick. We will definitely return!”

“What a gorgeous house - we felt like we were sleeping in a west coast art gallery! All the little details to make life easy are thought of - the house is immaculate and you can tell building it was a labour of love. Our family enjoyed hiking directly from the house - a beautiful and easy trail to hook into the China Beach Campground trail to the beach.”

“Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!”

“A group of 5 of us stayed at this beautiful cabin for a long weekend. There was plenty of space for each of us to have our own bed and the 2 showers & provided towels was nice. Kitchen had essentials, some tea, oil, instant coffee and some leftover condiments in the fridge. The patio has a lovely view in the trees but would love to see more comfortable outdoor furniture there for lounging. Would also love to see a bigger couch or more sofas by the tv to fit a big group.
